  • Congrats you just made what every LARGE junk yard has. A electro Magnet that grips metal. big fukin deal.. Now make it pick up 30 ton rocks.. then u have a vid.

  • good job man you are onto this.. :-) i have one or 2 question for you aswell. Should i get my main bar square at 1.5 x 1.5 like you said at the start or a round diameter @ 1.5 inch for starting off? and how the heck am i meant to count 1500 turns!?? lol i will lose track at around 378 and not know where i am up to.. 3rd question is with the spools underneath the coils of copper being, in his magnetic current book it says to make a 6 inch spool of brass or aluminium, but how tight do i make it?

  • So how could one of these hold slabs of rock that weighs tons? Was the rock he used have enough metal in it so it could work? I guess the machine would have to be massively scaled in size for a large project like that.

  • YOUR PMH IS NICE NOW MAKE A REALLY BIG ONE LIKE ED DID AND GIVE IT A REAL DC CHARGE THEN PLACE AC COIL INTHE CENTER AND CHARGE IT SO ONLY THE FLIEDS INTERACT THE CENTER COIL WILL LIFT ,THE EDDY CURRENTS DO THE WORK THE DC MUST BE GREATER THEN THE AC OR IT WILL NOT WORK. I KNOW WHAT ED DID AND HOW .THIS IS SOLVED

  • Very cool! How could this be used for more than a parlor trick? Why isn't it being done by at least the common man?

  • Can attach a light bulb to the "unpowered" coils then pull off the weight.

  • @gabydewilde Exactly!

  • I wish I stayed in school :(

  • you said the rope s doing the work? how is the rope doing any work when its not moving?

  • @TheUFOeffect ...I think I said the work was being done through the rope and by the upper steel beams...that is...the load is supported by them after the weight is magnetized to the U magnet.

  • Sometimes when i see what Stefan Hartmann is doing here and on ou.com i begin thinking, we dont really know, who is Stefan Hartmann...

  • The big Oil corporations are trying their best to stop free energy ideas from spreading to common ppl.

We need to put an end to this corruption ,start generating ur own electricity now.

  • yes! nice demo! tried it me self on a smaller scale! the device is amazing! nice. ~Russ

  • hey scotty, can you please tell me how far in length you're windings are in cm and aprox how many layers you have in each coil.. This is by far the best i've seen....Cheerz

  • very nice...............have to tried to place iron or steel sheeting around the coils, and connected to the u shaped iron transformer as Edward says in his papers about getting more magnets out of the battery or gen .i would love to know

  • scotty, could you find out at what sound frequency range the PMH will drop the weight instantly? Just a thought, perhaps the inverse of that frequency is important too. Thanks for posting your video!

  • @jexphe2k ...It won't drop the weight unless you put in a strong current...running small current frequencies won't make the weight fall off.

It can be used as a generator on a small scale and still hold the weight!

  • nice video dude!

remove the 3 phase motor on your flywheel, just stick to the photo. you will end up in a wrong direction if you put that 3 phase motor. tnx!

  • You just show the Remanence Effect of the hard steel, being magnetized and stays magnetized after the power from the coils is removed.

The steel cores just have then a Remanence magnetisation and thus is holding the weight.

    Nothing mysterious.. just Remanence...

    But well built !

    Regards, Stefan.

  • Hey Stefan.

I saw many clips of smaller versions of this, so, as I had the large electromagnet handy I thought I'd show the effect on a larger scale.

The electromagnet should be made of pure soft iron, but I only had mild steel.

I can't get pure wrought iron here.

There is a possibility that a large electromagnet of pure wrought iron could show something interesting...but that's another story.

BTW the magnetism in the metal stays inside and doesn't show up on a gauss meter.

  • wrong

  • found some different configurations for this pmh, should check out the playlist i have made showing Ed Leedskalnin work.

  • If you break the electrical connections after charging the holder..does the 23lbs weight fall? Or does the holder polarity have to be momentarily reversed for cancellation of the field? Nice video thanks for doing this..merry Christmas Scotty!

  • Not too belittle the theory, but, if I placed a rock on a shelf would the shelf be "doing work" by preventing the rock from falling? Just thinking here. I fully understand what is going with the "holder".

  • kewl man! that's so interesting that the weight stays on there after you remove the power.5***** =) nice work scotty. merry christmas

  • excellent. go the ozzies, who says size doesnt matter.

  • Great video, very interesting

    Thanks for sharing

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year :)
