  • can you please send me a link to where you bought yours in m/l i cant find any

  • @blobbios Got mine at EBAirsoft, there's only one size on the market last I checked.

  • never really thought about it as protection. good point. cheers

  • @silentsniperrr No problems.

  • I have this helmet. It's really great, however I can't figure out how to mount things to the rails. They look like "inverted" 20mm rails, it looks like I could attach a rail to it but I can't figure out how to attach for example my Tachyon OPS HD helmet camera to it easily and securely. Any Ideas? Do you mount anything onto yours?

  • @ilovepinkfloydyay I've actually removed my rails since I don't plan on mounting anything for a while, but they work using small accessory pieces. I think EBB may have some, if not then Ops-Core will. There's a few types, but they all slot in to the sides of the helmet and then provide a mounting system at the other end, like a small stretch of 20mm rail.

  • @CKinnerley Aaaaaaahhhh yeah I see them now. Thank's man, I think I'll pick up a few from EB. It took them like 3 weeks to deliver the helmet, I wish I'd ordered them with it, now I'll have to wait another 3 weeks hahah! Unless I can find somewhere in the UK that stocks them...

  • i just got mine. a tad snug, but i like it that it won't shake. my pads inside are coming off though. cool softshell. where'd you get it?

  • @mentalmetal1 Softshell? Do you mean the field jacket I'm wearing? That's helikon from military1st.

  • These helmets are wicked. Just got mine :D

  • you look like an idiot

  • @albinothief Thanks matt.

  • RUN, THE COPS ARE AFTER YOU!!! Nice helmet.

  • @tongfu77 Woop woop, that's the sound of the police.

  • With the exception of the molding marks I thoroughly like this helmet.

  • HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! lol

  • @clencerspark99 And to you my friend.

  • @CKinnerley Is there any chance of you doing a review of the Helikon Parka soon?

  • @BruceBufferFTW Can do if that's what people want, there is one review already available although I'm watching it at the moment and it's not bad, but he's got a few details incorrect.

  • @CKinnerley Well, I like your style of reviewing things (Sabre softshell) and I like listening to you, no homo. Have a great 2012

  • @BruceBufferFTW If the opportunity arises I shall certainly look in to it. Happy new year to you.

  • Nice review, quite a rare helmet indeed great to see a replica that the average airsofter can afford

  • @LukeMiller94 Considering how many inferior replica helmets are out there which cost double the money I heartily agree with you. There's a lot of low quality Ops-Core clones in UK stores right now which cost around £80, where as this one costs less than £40 and is built to a far higher standard.

  • Looks a great product!

    Thanks for sharing !

  • @BEairsoftTV It is indeed, very well made and highly practical for skirmishing, glad you like the video :)

  • & as i watched this vid i've found they are releasing the Multicam version at E B Airsoft.

  • @olafleifson They are, though there's no equivalent of that in the real world so I'll be getting the Crye helmet cover myself.

  • I got my AirFrame lid yesterday.I've been picking up a lot of Helmets recently to try & get one that doesn't cause my glasses to fog up.The most recent i've got were the copy OpCore lids,i think i prefer them over the Air Frame lid.I'm lucky that i have a lot of spare Helmet pads knocking about to make sure this Helmet is comfortable when wearing my Sordins.

I will say that all the screws need tightening.

  • I have that jacket i believe. Is it a helikon SFU ? i got it for christmas along with a Ricas DA 5.56mm plate carrier. awesome helmet fYI

  • @ThEgOdOfAiRsOfT Not far off, 2008 Field Parka. I usually wear an issue DPM field jacket every day in work and I wanted something similar for airsoft in a more modern camo pattern, so the Helikon was a good option. Quality isn't as high as Crye/5.11 etc but then this stuff is a lot cheaper, so it's good value for money when it comes to 'softing.

  • @CKinnerley Yes i agree although i just use it for cadets now that were allowed to were multi terrain pattern. why do you guys still were Dpm parkas. your raf right? because our atc cadets are allowed to wear MTP i do :P

  • @ThEgOdOfAiRsOfT Not everyone in the UK's armed forces have been issued MTP yet, and if you've not been issued with it, you're not allowed to wear it about. Even if I was allowed, not much point spending loads of my own money when I'm eventually going to get given it anyway and I have a free supply of unlimited new CS95 stuff.

  • @CKinnerley Fair point :) CS95 is nice as well . i still use it for airsoft and when i go to airshows in england im from northenr ireland. nice videos btw i based everything i got at christmas after the gear videos you make

  • im sorry chris, i despise of helmets, hot, heavy, restrictive view, straps everywhere. BUT in air soft its what floats your boat isn't it! glad you like it :) Troy Industries ball cap for me :)

  • @TheJaaysog Well that's the good thing about this one. I've had a couple of others and this one's definitely not heavy. The gap in the top lets the air flow, no vision restriction and as you see in the video, the straps sort themselves out. I'll still wear a cap most of the time because I've had similar experiences to yours with other helmets, but this one is a huge step forward from every single other previous design.
