miss my dog man so much! :'( my dog died 04/30/11 saturday midnight we found him during the day time! we found blood trail in the laundry room so we followed it and soon we got the end my dog waz layin on the ground next to my parents back door room dead! i guess she waz calling for help when she waz bleeding to death and we were asleep that night! i really miss her! R.I.P chucha my dog :''''( i really want to get same puppy as my old one :'(

Its not impossible to get black puppies from a cream and a red. Cream is recessiv ee but also AA. Red is an agouti and is ayayEE. When you mate a cream with a red you get the dominant genes of black : Aay Ee BB DD.

ah my mom had a chow chow and she had puppies and then she ran off. we had to bottle feed the puppies. They're so cute though

I love chows!!! I have had my black chow, gizmo, since I was 5 and now im 21:) suprisingly he is still kickin, even for his old age :D he is soo protective over me and my daughter!! the best dog you can get in my book!! A true companion!! :)

I had a black chow :( she died a few months ago. But if you want one, they are not friendly to people outside the home. But loving to you!

there are a lot of breeders in europe that you could find. when i was looking for a chow breeder here in the US mostly european breeders would pop up....maybe you can try looking up the

English Kennel Club and you can get registered breeders which is the safest ones to buy from coz they care about the dog rather than making money.

yes i agree with that, chows don't like other people...I have a black one too, he's still avirgin...problem is there are few chows here in my hometown..I'm the only one whohas a black one...black chows are very rARE here ij the Philippines.

Oh, bless your heart. I'm so sorry. I have my fourth Chow, ZZ Top("ZZ"),now.I got him from Linda Brantley,coincidentally.I got him because my red male "Blaze" had passed away after 14 years and a year later, I was still not coping well.Nobody can fatham the pain unless they've been a Chow parent.I know other breed owners love their dogs too, but Chows are just different...I can't explain it. You should get another one though, it helps.For now, my heart goes out to you cuz it sits heavy for sure
