Sorry man but these players are not superstars, except for Eric Lindros and Peter Forsberg. But forsberg came as a flyer and wasn't the same player as he was before, he came in philly really overvalued. And Lindros you would never win anything with this guy with his attitude, he wasn't playing to win only for the money just like Yashin. But yeah he was a superstar.
All the other players mention are not superstars but good players. I have to give you this, Hextall was awesome back in the 80's.

Was this a bad decision by BGL? Yes. But any Hockey player knows that you don't go for the puck that is along the boards the way Downie did, He put himself in a dangerous and vulnerable position. Again let me say (because I hear the yelling) this does not absolve Laraque for a poor play. As far as I know Laraque has not been disciplined by the NHL for this hit yet, but we shall see. I am a Penguins and Flyers fan and I love watching them play because it is some of the best hockey you will see.
