The smallest caliber you can use on cape buffalo is a 375 all a 270 would do is piss him off. and then he would run your ass over.

a .270 would be nothing to a capebuffalo.... the grain in a 270 is about 195.... for capebuffalo you want at least 350 grain rounds...
