I remember playing this in the arcade when I started attracting attention when his heart beat started going really fast like it is at the 6:43 mark. Some dude walked over saying " His heart is about to burst! His heart is about to burst!!". I was like " Dude! Shut u already I am stressed tryin to get it to burst without you telling me the obvious!". That was the clostest I ever came. I was SO frustrated!
I've got a nice one of these also. Great game (you can see it in one of my videos). "Me got you" always makes me smile. It's sad that you don't see pinball machines around any more.
Love this! I had a Gorgar in the basement of a Lower East Side NYC performance space for five years or so. Put a woofer and tweeter in it with external volume control, replaced the flipper solenoids and related hardware with newer, more powerful parts, made it near impossible to tilt, kept the rubber parts fresh, waxed the playfield twice a week, etc... It was so much fun!
I like the art. The concern of the chap as he lifts the lady. Is he her fiance, husband, relative? He hasn't noticed Gorgar. Is this Earth or another world? Gorgar's homeworld? How do Gorgar's species and humans interact? Gorgar has learned our language yet does he eat humans? Or do they die because of the hostile conditions, it looks very hot. Gorgar has evolved to survive here. Are we invading his territory?
I enjoyed your video but it made me feel sad. There was once a Gorgar in Lowestoft. In a run down arcade, a grotty machine but it was wonderful. Now the arcade has gone and Gorgar too. What a terrible loss.
Well, glad at least that you could enjoy it here...I still remember seeing this game in the arcade and being amazed by the snake pit. It's nice to be able to relive that.
Gorgar is an all-time classic pinball. Reminds me of my good old arcade days.

LOVED THE HEARTBEAT
It used to stress me the hell out as a kid when I played this.

This pinball machine was released here in Brazil by Taito in 1980, and it recieved the name of "Drakor".

I love this setup with those two absolute classics! I'd call it:
"The Beauty (Mata) & the Beast (Gorgar)"!
You sure are a lucky man to own those two treasures! ;-)
