Yeah, you are right. For the first sight I can figure out where you stand, when camera shot from another angle all of you changed formation, and I suspected maybe you are the one moved to the middle. Well, the video is not so clear, so it will be hard for me to trace you from one position to the other. But, you both really look alike!!!!
Well, it is "classical", but with a modern twist. Pretty much all fan dance or rather, all classical chinese dance these days in China are in this style.
@sugarsweet87 I'm a dancer comes from China. I just want to say that not all of Chinese dance are in this style!!!! At least we don't have this kind of dance... that's not classical!
@hydeva1 I never said it's purely classical. If you read my comment, I said that it has a modern twist. The foundation is classical, but a lot of elements are modern Chinese dance. If you trace back Chinese dance and how it was 10 years ago, you'll see that the feeling, breathing, and the lines are very different from what it is now. Ta Ge (踏歌) does not have the same feeling as many classical dance these days, so I don't think I'm wrong to say that classical dance now are very modern like.
@sugarsweet87 you just mention 踏歌,so i think you know chinese right? 那我用中文說好了。中國古典舞的範圍很廣,其中包括了漢唐古典舞. 而你所提到的踏歌,就是漢唐古典舞. 你所說的"classical dance these days"便是所謂的古典舞,這種舞是建立在戲曲舞蹈的基礎上的. 而漢唐古典舞,是根據出土文物的形態,唐詩對舞姿的記載,還有岩石壁畫上的舞蹈形態來復原的中國古代舞蹈. 所以踏歌和古典舞的形態身韻自然是不一樣的啊. 還有,我之前的po文只是說這不是古典舞而已,並沒有說這舞蹈不好的意思喔,請不要誤會^_^.
