I just thank God for the life of King Sunny Ade. My late father introduced his music to me in 1973 as a young boy because he would always buy his new record release. Ever since then I've loved Sunny Ade dearly. My regret is that as I love him dearly, I've never had a chance of meeting him one on one even after 3 decades. All of them are singing in parts. This goes to confirm the there had been wonderfully talented musicians from our part of the world ages ago. This Sunny Ade record exhibits this. When I listen and analyse music of Papas Haruna Ishola and Yusuf Olatunji and hear them all singing in parts with scintillating organisation and arrangement; I give glory to God that He has blessed us with deep talents in our part of the world. This is gap between then and now. Thanks for uploading.
