Deze bobines zijn inderdaad niet geaard aan het frame. Normaal gesproken is dit not done. Echter, de aarding vindt hier plaats door middel van een tweede bobine waaraan de hoogspanningskabel aan het frame zit. De volgende lading heb je dan:
Frame: +30kV (benadering)
Bougie: -30 kV (wederom een benadering)
Dit geeft dus 60kV over de bougi (overkill). Het nadeel is wel, dat het frame dus zwaar onder stroom staat waardoor je hier en daar zelf ook een geschokt wordt.
Two reasons. First I'm using an external power supply so I don't need the magnets on the flywheel and the coils on the moped. Second, every engine can run without a flywheel. Just keep it in the high rpms and it will do just fine.
Het geinige is dus ook, dat het motorblok soms voorwaarts draait, en dan weer achterwaarts :P Dat kan ook gewoon. Gebeurt trouwens niet in dit filmpje. Ik heb hem vrij hoog stationair staan, dan gebeurt dat niet. Maar is wel nasty bij een stoplicht als je brommer ineens achteruit gaat.
