But there are differences within Swiss watches and the new watches are cheap, poor quality and poor design compared to their Swiss made offerings from 80s/90s. Leather goods and writing instruments are crap too now compared to before. Don't buy anything new PD these days. You know the brand is oversold crap when they are selling clothing lines primarily to minority buyers ala Burberrys, Balleys and Gucci.

Lost interest in PD watches (and a lot of other items) when they ditched IWC for cheap suppliers - same with pens and leather goods - not quite what they once were and now catering to wannabees....
