@CognosSquare Yea! You nailed it. Take them all to a no-kill shelter and spay/neuter them. The mom can stay with the kittens until they're weaned and then adopted out. Kittens usually go fast. You can take mom back to where she was, or, if she doesn't seem to be feral, try to adopt her too.

I've had a cat who was very skinny, but she ate like a horse. Some cats just look very thin even though they are fed on a regular basis. Just depends on the cat's metabolism, just like humans.
