  • love your vidoe on adobe, please make more tutorial :)

  • I have adobe premiere pro 5.5, I can't find the green key effect.. Does it have another name, or isn't the effect there??

  • @simsspeaker I am working with Premiere Elements rather than Pro here. You might look for Chroma key filters. Perhaps the great and powerful Google can help here. LOL. Not sure what else to suggest.

  • @csnelsonbsu Nevermind, found a video ;)

  • thanks ^^

  • OMG!!!! You helped me so much! Thanks!

  • Great video. Thank you very much.

Please upload more tutorials you are brilliant at this .

  • Easy to follow and a very well put together video. Many thanks from Australia.

  • Thanks for the cool video..you really helped a lot of people who were in need for this kind of tutorial..

  • Thank you,

    This is a great help.

  • WOW!

    You make editing simple!!!! :D

    Thanks!

  • Thankyou so much, you helped me greatly with green screen backgrounds. I searched for days until I came across this video, so Thankyou very much.

  • This question has been asked a few times, but yes you can use other solid colors. Then use the chroma key filter rather than the green screen filter. However, do be careful about what color is selected. The green screen is easier to filter out since it is not that similar to skin tones. It may be more difficult to use other colors that are a closer match to skin, hair, or clothing. Try experimenting and see what happens.

  • can I use a regular paper or something like that???

  • Use anything that works. You might even find something at the dollar store that works like a lime green table cloth. Be careful to have good lighting and watch out for glare on the green screen. Good luck.

  • do I need green or could I use an another colour?

  • Use green with the green-screen filter. The green tends to be different enough from skin tones to filter it out. However, you can use other colors with the chroma-key filter. Some people use blue screen.

  • this helped me alot

  • I'm getting this as a gift for Christmas. Because, I'm a video editing Geek.

  • Then you definitely belong here on YouTube with the rest of us video editing geeks. :-)

  • SWEET! Thanks a million! I just got the newest version of Adobe premiere elements!

  • Me too, but I have not tried this on Adobe Premiere 8 yet. Best of luck to you with your movie making pursuits.

  • Thanks! Make more videos!!!!!

  • I bought this software over a year ago and haven't been able to do anything with it! Thank you soooo much for sharing this information! Now maybe I can add backgrounds to my vlogs! *hugs*

  • Thank you for posting that video on green screen! I am learning more and more each day and I definately want Adobe Premire 7 TY!

  • You are welcome. Good luck with your video production.

  • As far as I know we have to pay for this software. Unfortunately, it is not free.

  • You are right. This won't help much if you don't have the software I am using. That is why I made sure to include the name of the software in the title, description, and video clip. Adobe Premiere Elements 7 is what this was designed for.

  • wow this helped so much thank you so much you rock....
