Notice the difference between the two different kicks Jim used, where and why. How he emphasizes different parts of a song (especially the outro) by switching to boom from the cavernous kick used throughout. Also, see if you can "describe" what the high hard-sync climbing sound is? How about the hollow synth? Homework for ya'll.
