The nearest I did to this was to use an old model truck as a garden ornament - I got bored with it so I transformed it into a hearse - although I do have many models in bits waiting to be put together which would blend in well to this... As for models bought with parts missing, I picked up a VW Beetle cheaply from a second hand shop which due to its missing parts would have fitted in quite well here, although not now due to modifying it into a restorod.

you should just buy a brand new die cast car and not smash it just put it inte the junkyard and let it stand there for 5 years and see how it looks afterwards

when i make my junkyards... i prefer to use those plastic model cars... they are easier to make realistic dents with, and stuff
