most people want to just ignore our inefficient use of land and animals as luxuries even as others are decaying in poverty. One should take note that for each pound of meat it we have to grow 13-18 pounds of crops (depending on the animal) which take enormous amounts of pesticides, herbicides,fungicides, insecticides, synthetic fertilizers a the majority of it becoming fecal matter that pollutes our waterways, sending synthetic growth hormones and antibiotics into our streams , rivers, + oceans
