  • they can live more than 40 years and are very smart.

  • they walk like gunslingers.

  • I'v seen bigger

  • we have like a ton of those in sweden XD

  • That crow is big because it's a raven.

  • isnt that just a Common Raven? i mean look, it has the throat feathers and everything!

  • is this raven from Baltimore?

  • You don't even want to know how much bigger than this they come -.-

  • OH G THAT'S A BIG RAVEN

  • Ravens and crows are both part of the genus Corvus. Technically you could say that a raven is a very large crow. C'mon guys you all have Google. Stop trying to figure this out on your own.

  • Ravens and crows are the same family.

  • thats a raven

  • That's a raven ... not a crow xD

  • never more

  • I would capture that thing, name it Keeley, and train it to attack the stupid little children who toss their toys into my backyard. While I think of it, this might solve the cat problem I have as well...

  • Ravens are crows and crows are ravens. To say a raven is not a crow, has the substance of a soup, made from the shadow of a crow who starved to death.

  • This is a Crow. You can tell by the Tail. Raven tails come to a point in the middle. Crow tails go straight across. What state is this in?

  • I live in Indiana and the crows where I live are that big.

  • Ugh, these people do not know anything about taxonomy. That is a crow, you were not incorrect in using that term. "Crow" refers to a whole family of birds. A raven is just a species within the family "Corvidae".

  • no no no , the russian moscows even bigger than that

  • That's a raven, not a crow. Crows are grey and black, ravens are completely black. Ravens are much bigger than crows.

  • It's just a Raven. Healthy adult size. They are one of the world's most intelligent birds. Way smarter that the average You Tuber :) I had one as a pet when I was a kid. It could talk. Not a You Tuber, a Raven.

  • Ive seen bigger when I went to japan!

  • lol...yes thats the difference between a raven ( corvus corax ) and a common crow (corvus corone) on the first sight :: the size )...but the raven is a crow too, they belong all to the familiy of crows called corvids. And they belong, i don't know if much of you know to the singing birds :) so the raven is the biggest singing bird ;) there is

  • there is crows twice that size in alberta canada

  • We have many ravens around here in the high desert, and some of them are bigger than my cat. I love them, they are puckish and smart, and know how to open the trash cans and get in the trash on trash day. Most people think they are pests, but I think they are awesome. I love the krucking sound they make.

  • their was this big ass crow doing barrel roles by my house....wheni got my camera it attack me =(

  • you guys are fucking awsome

  • ravens and crows are almost the same on is bigger than the other

  • its a raven noobs

  • its a crow.......i have seen a lot like this

  • Christ, I saw that thing, or one like that. It lives at my school. It looks like Spike Lee's pet chicken, really.

  • I think that bird is a raven

  • That is one big crow! I think they're so beautiful!

  • Come on

  • u in nc

  • Romania are full of these

  • definately a Raven

  • nothing special, size is normal

  • dude that thing is like the size of a lil dog lol

  • lol it would be funny watching some random guy filming a bird at k-mart

  • I thought it was a crow, until i seen the comments, But now i know its a raven and i didnt make a fool of myself!...You retard its a raven!

  • XD it's a raven but never mind it's a common mistake X3

  • lol you goofball its a raven

  • god i hate crows!!!!!!! fuckin ugly, scary birds!

  • To be honest, im more scared of a fucking parrot, all colorful n sparkly, seems to poisonous.

    The black bird, awesome.

  • crows have yellow feet, ravens have black u moron

  • omg its a common mistake... jeez get off his or her back.

  • Actually that is a normal size for a RAV EN.

  • you can tell by the beak, its a raven, a juvenile.

  • i can tell, ive seen a few ravens in my day

  • You can tell by the size and shape of the beak that it's a raven, crows don't get that big only ravens do, they can have a winspan of up to 3ft

  • ive seen crows that big dumbass..and it wasnt a raven

  • Do you even know the physical difference between a raven and a crow, and NO crows cannot get that big. And don't call someone who actually does research a dumbass just because "you saw a big bird"

  • how the fuck u gon tell me what i seen hoe..we dont have ravens down here dumbass..do some research

  • thats not a freakin raven.

  • Yes it is fool.

  • WTF?????????

  • HOLY SHIET THATS BIG!

  • you shuold see the ones at pine ridge hs in florida

  • wow your neighborhood has a lot of tiny crows

  • dam i read cow lol...when i saw the crow i was like wtf lol

  • same here

  • lol me too

  • @cuzzigothigh Lol(:

thats excactly what i read too!!!

i was really confused when i saw a car in the picture thingy

  • This is a "Common Raven". I've been at this folks, for about 15yrs now. So trust me, i know what i'm talking about here. And to the poster; ace5787, your partially right. Raven's Crow's & Jay's are in the "corvid" family of birds. However....Raven's are NOT Crow's, by any stretch. They live very different lives, despite the "visual size differences", Raven's being anywhere from 21-27in with a 4ft wingspan, and Crows's 17-21in with a near 3ft wingspan. So this video is definitely of a Raven......

  • omfg get a life man...its nice to have a hobby but to know to wingspan of a bird come on get a life

  • Its called google you dumb troll. Fail.

  • omg it isn'T big.

  • Actually, all Ravens ARE Crows as well as Bule Jays and Magpies...Crow is a family of a species of bird but its really complex. GOOGle it!!!!

  • the family is called raven birds (in german)

the common raven is the biggest species in the world..

  • damn!!!!

  • whoops, i thought that said cow XD

  • lol so did i xD

  • holy balls that's a big crow!

  • omg! i read COW not crow! ...this video was so confusing at first... im a retard...

  • That's you, always Raven and ranting!

  • He or she is adorable and beautiful!

  • GO STEELERS!!!

  • it was funny how u just watched it fly away lol

  • pterodactil wtf

  • He's a big boy but he's not the biggest. I've seen huge ones in TX.

  • Kind of like the masons and the shriners: you have to be a crow for six or seven years before they let you be a raven.

  • Haha

  • Raven, not crow..

  • Ravens are female crows. Thats all you need to know

  • he's true

  • You're a dickwad.

  • Your Mom's a dickwad

  • fuckin owned....

  • ravens have superior flight skills than crows-they can soar like raptors

  • Woah Woah Woaaaaah that WASNT MEE

RinnyxBabe is my other account and...OH SHIT THAT WAS MY BROTHER!

okay look im sorry that does strange...but believe me Ravens or Crows still a bird right? XD

  • its a raven you tosser

  • the raven are bigger then a crows you stupd ass hole thats all you need to know bitch

  • i lol'd

  • Why would you talk so rudely to someone who simply doesn't know the difference? Sheesh...Be respectful...

  • i want to know whats the diffrence between a crow and a raven isnt the crow more dangerous

  • the raven is a bit bigger and the beak is less bent, that is virtually all.

  • Wow, that's a pretty big crow. The biggest crow ever was found in the early 1900s, it had a wingspan of around 35 feet, and was 20 feet long.

  • UM THATS EVEN BIG!!!!!!!!1

  • I usually see lots of crows at construction sites their favorite sites to be so I have to say I seen bigger crows but the ravens are bigger I saw a documentary..

  • Pretty big

  • The beak gives it away.

  • that was a fat ass thing

  • if its much bigger then a crow then its a raven...

  • Raven and crows are the same bird....i seen pretty big crows here too

  • not just look like a raven but is it.....

  • loks like a raven, dont see as many in populated areas.

  • Think that's a raven bud. It's solo, crows usually cruise round in... a murder is it? Ravens are alot bigger than crows too, soooooooooooo

  • I live in Northern Ontario and the crows, ravens, turkey vultures are a dime a dozen..ive seen massive

  • honestly, i've seen in the Ottawa region of Canada, ravens that were about twice the size of that one, no joke. For some reason the ones here are huge. like 3 month old Labrador puppies and bigger :|

  • Wow, that *is* huge. We really don't have that many around here in N.C. which is why I mistook this one for a crow.

  • @Blinkazoid yep! ... I saw one near Quebec city one morning with my mom who was raised in the country without ever seeing one that big .... it was also in a shopping center parking lot. I'd say it was nearly 4 feet from tail to head... I couldn't believe my eyes!

  • @Blinkazoid You're both tards. They're called Ravens

  • thats a raven its bigger than a crow

  • you never be seen BIG CROW!!!

  • lol, glad people already got to you to tell you it was a raven. Might want to change your tabs.

  • That's Nott A Crow.....Thats A Raven??? Crows Don't Hop before they Take Off Like That only ravens do that???

  • Just looking through your older vids and saw this one. Good thing he didn't hear you call him a crow, he might have flown back and shat on your head. Then you would make that mistake... Nevermore ;-) hehehe

  • LOL, well with a name like ravensky I know you certainly would never mistake a raven for a crow!!! I'm sure he would have been pretty insulted to be called a mere crow:)

  • WoW man where u live i may make a video bout this u live in mane? canada? i may make a movie

  • This was in North Carolina. As it turns out this was not a crow but was a Raven.

  • Wow, what a big bird.

  • The African white crested crow is bigger, almost twice the size

  • Thanks:) this bird here turned out to be a raven and not a crow.

  • Biggest one I have ever seen as well :]

  • Unfortunately It's been pointed out in the comments that it's not a crow. It's a Raven. Oh well, it's still a doggone big bird:)

  • It's still awesome! Seeing a Raven...ive never seen one before...

  • i know!, im from alabama n moved to arizona, and we were like OMFG! huge crows!!! WTF! but they were ravens lol

  • I'm in N.C. I guess ravens just aren't all that common here. I *think* I might have seen a couple of them previously to filming this but apparently I never saw one take off before, because they certainly didn't impress me as being nearly as big as this bird. I guess seeing that wingspan really makes a difference.

  • omg, resident evil extinction flashback, lol.

  • Hehehe, I'll assume that's a bad ass computer game from a while back:)

  • Blinkazoid....Slave to 3CoolKats

  • A regular Hitchcock nightmare.

  • Heheheh, I'd hate to have a few dozen of these big guys attacking me:)

    Blinkazoid (slave of 3CoolKats)

  • lol it is fairly big lol

  • I thought so anyway:)

  • thats a medium sized raven.

  • Thanks ironchop. Ya, I've had quite a number of people telling me it's a Raven. But had it been a crow I'm sure it would have been the worlds largest, LOL. I'm not so great with bird identification I'm afraid.

  • Perhaps his dad was an albatross! Cheers, Lesley

  • LOL, maybe so Lesley:) You know I've heard the term "like an albatross around my neck" hundreds of times but I don't think I've ever even seen a picture of an actual albatross.

  • Like a massive seagul on steroids wingspan of a small plane! They have a stuffed one in a museum here. L

  • I couldn't see your reply.. :( In the south of Sweden they like to eat Rook, but I've never heard of any eating Ravens.. It was a holy bird to the Vikings, or near enough anyway.. :)

  • According to someone here, the Raven *is* a member of the crow family and is a long lived bird. There's no way I'd consider eating crows/Ravens. They're far too intellegent and it just wouldn't seem right to me. BTW, you didn't miss much on my comment reply. I simply said...

"I've officially made it a Raven, LOL. It really was a great looking bird."... Sigh, I need to hire someone to write for me, LOL.

  • I dont think thats a crow... crows are smaller, that was a raven... we get loads of Ravens here, and a couple of crows, so you get to know them :~D (I can comment again but I have lost my NOSE!!!)

  • We very seldom get Ravens so I guess that's why I was confused. So was this a bigger than average Raven? You may have lost your nose but I'm sure you're breathing easier since you got your comments back:)

  • I sure am breathing easier! :~D well it sure looked like a bigger than average Raven either way it was a huge black bird!! I bet the cats would have had fun with that! :~D

  • My cats would flee in terror from that bird. Suzy even runs from run of the mill crows.

  • My Georgie is a house cat and she just sits at the window making little noises at it through the glass... very cute :~D

  • i saw a crow or raven spirit appear to you

Carlos Castenada would note the direction he flew off in

looks like north east to me (?)

birth a and a new beginning

    i would be honored

  • I'm not very good with directions so I'm not too sure which way that was except UP:)

  • Are you sure it was a crow and not a raven? I just checked out some pic's of ravens here:

    at dubyadubyadubya dotravensravensravensdot bravehostdotttcomm

    Ravens seem to be bigger?

  • I thought it was a crow when I posted this but everyone now has me totally convinced it's a Raven.

  • Has that bird been taking steroids? Because if so, he may be disqualified from the competition.

  • It was an "afternoon delight" seeing that Raven take off, Quothe the Blinkazoid. Actually it at first was trying to eat a piece of paper so it was needing a fix of some sort.

  • It would've been better off placing an order at the KMart cafeteria ...and that's not something anyone says lightly!

  • I see you didn't have to look too far to find a church, Are you in NC? Joking. Seriously, though, crows are maybe the smartest birds of all. Try reading "The Indian Crow" by Mark Twain.

  • Ya I'm in NC. Yep, TONS of churches here so if a person really wanted to I'm sure they could shop around to get the best deal on salvation:) There's tons of crows around here too.

  • You let supper fly off?!?! Would have made a change from rat!

  • Ya but all I have to do with rat is just put a piece of cheese in my mouth and sleep with it open. It just soooo much simpler than Raven:)

  • That's a Black Eagle, I'm sure.. better lock up your cats.. :) Seriously though, I go for the Raven theory.. magnificent birds.. and that one was certainly a prime specimen.. :)

  • I've officially made it a Raven, LOL. It really was a great looking bird.

  • Nah, I was in my van filming this through the window. He just got bored because there wasn't anything to eat there.

  • That is one very impressive bird, it is! Thanks for sharing, Blinky.:) Birds with big beaks make me nervous, I stay away from them.lol

  • I think my cats and I will stay away from it as well:) It was a beautiful bird however.

  • Crow/Raven....I don't know the difference all I know is it was right big!!

    Dianne

  • The difference is a matter of a-pinion. OK, I don't expect anyone to read through the comments to get that one, LOL. But Ya, the bottom line is it was a doggone big bird!!!

    (Blinkazoid)

  • If that was a crow, it was damned huge, but it looked more like a Raven to me.

  • Everyone now has me totally convinced it was a raven. Actually I had no idea at all that Raven's got that big until now.

  • There's an ornithologist's joke that since a raven has one more pinion feather than a crow.. the difference is a matter of "a pinion" (opinion) (OK, not so funny for the rest of us.)

We get lots of crows that hang around the neighborhood.. crows are eager to share their opinion! and they're not easily intimidated.

  • We have lots of crows here too which is why that's the first bird I thought of when I saw this one. Actually I kinda like the ornithologist joke:)

  • would that make us gluttons for Pun-ishment? hahahaha

  • LOL, good one Brian:) Us punsters are birds of a feather:)

  • Seems to me ..this "thar" Crow...is a Raven !

  • Ya, I've been corrected a few times on that one, LOL. Thankfully I *did* put question marks in the title. I like the title so I'm leaving it alone. Actually though I should put raven in the tags.

  • Not so bad...since Ravens ARE the biggest in the Crow family...so all is fine :-)

    Nice vid...

  • WOW!

  • Well put Jenn:)

  • WOW! That was HUGE haha. I saw three huge black birds, didn't think they were crows because they were HUGE, resting ontop of my neighbor's house. Kind of was eerie haha.
