Oh God, all those people oh here who dont find this funny, lighten up! Its the fact that the real piece of music is wonderful and majestic , but this is just the opposite. Its helped by having the real opening credits too. Bloody hilarious!!
They're not even trying. It sounds like elephants having nasal infections and blowing their noses. They're getting notes flat, changing melodies, really just a symphony of failure.
Having been a listener of Eno's work for decades I believe it's time to revive the Portsmouth Sinfonia. In it's new incarnation celebraties could be invited to play as members and charity concerts and recordings could be generated. Imagine George Clooney on clarinet, Kid Rock on trombone, Lang Lang on viola etc. etc. all for charity.
Please remove the "I'm a fucking idiot who falls for chain-letters" bullshit about the high school band. Its the Portsmouth Sinfonia, you fucking halfwit.
heard about this from Adam Buxton's Big Mixtape.... i can't even get through the first 30sec because I'm clutching my stomach laughing. it's too effin funny!!!!
Nooooo, if you would eat Schroedinger's cat alive or dead you would know at this moment that the cat's alive, or dead. So then it's not Schroedinger's cat anymore.
But you can eat Pawlow's dog alive or dead if you want to.
She tries to be "Also Sprach Zarathustra" pretty hard, and sometimes pulls it off, but everyone in the family still laughs behind her back at her pretentions.
My God, it's full of shit!

what the opening of 2001 would have been like if Ed Wood had made it.
Complete with egg boxes covered in glitter, washing up liquid bottles daubed with poster paint, and painfully bad acting.

Penderecki's Threnody was a tuneful masterpiece compared to this molestation!
Of course, Penderecki would have been pleased either way - because his music was all about the fecked up anyway!
Apparently, Hiroshima happened again.... at Portsmouth High..... :P
