Its very good. She has a style of her own. But Zhou Xuan is Zhou Xuan.In the 1938 movie you see Zhou Xuan singing happily and slower sadly crying when her boyfriend looked down at her for being a singing girl.At 19 years old,she was and still is the best with this song. In my opinion, this version has the right singer, unfortunately the music is " modernized " in a wrong way, this song was written for Chow Hsuan and erhu, like a fifty years old brandy, has its own kind of flavor that none of the other wines could have. It's always hard to reject the new comers who did try to do their best, but the facts cannot be ignored. Just my two cents.

This is an excellent cover! Her voice is so lovely and amazingly expressive. I just wish that they also release a minimalistic version where erhu is the only accompaniment, as in the original, or maybe even "a cappella". Rock-n-roll style or techno style drum beats are just so out-of-place with this song for me.
