  • Pizza Luce is better than new york nasty pizzas. Come to Duluth and taste it for yourself.. Trust me, It's worth the trip. And see the world largest freshwater lake and the world largest inland seaport and world farthest seaport and the famous ariel lift bridge.. The bridge is the most beautifuliest thing than all around the world.. And it's so solid and very impossible to break.

  • This is a plug for Explore Minnesota? You should edit this next time. The guy spitting twice before entering Pizza Luce probably should have been left out. Really?

  • Duluth is awesome. But there's not much to do at night until you're old enough to get into the clubs and bars

  • Duluth is a hellhole.

  • @CelticVictory I couldn't agree more. was assualted there and it ruined my life!

  • @grettagrids Sorry to hear that.

  • Went to college in Duluth, the only nightlife is house parties, fitgers, dublinns, Twins bars, or Grandmas. Otherwise, not much to do.

  • @kbombay01

What about Bayfront Blues Fest? I could go on. OK I will. 7 Bridges Road. Park Point day or night. Enger Tower at Dawn might be one of the best pictuers this world traveler has ever seen. I could go on but kmombai might get pimpslapped by his gf.

  • @elarson559 Looks like a whole lot more people in the comments agree with me. Compare Duluth to the Twin Cities and there is virtually no nightlife. Hell, even suburbs of the cities have alot more to do. It does however have some very scenic places to visit in the day, but as far as nightlife goes, there is not much to do. Period.

  • @kbombay01 There's comparing. No one said "This is why Duluth's better than the Twin Cities" in this clip. How is a port town with a population of 85,000 going to compete with two metropolitan cities that neighbor each other? This is just a promotional piece trying to show visitors that Duluth doesn't totally suck. Since this was made, they've opened three more SUPER nice joints--Aces (on first), Blackwater, and they're working on a 1920's themed restaurant/bar downtown.

  • @sweetprism00 But Duluth does suck.

  • what about the sports garden???

  • ppl there are wierd, like serial killer wierd. ed gein would have enjoyed it there

  • the best part about duluth is the woman

  • @jimmyjohnson691 haha...please tell me thatr you are kidding, they should get their women spayed.

  • Duluth would be unbeatable if it had Minneapolis's people instead.

  • I really want to move back to Duluth. Have not been there in 30 years. Born there but stuck in the south.

  • I saw the haunted ship!...... i think

  • The way you present duluth it almost looks like a fun place to be.

  • I've lived in Duluth my whole life, and I think it's a great city. It's funny seeing the tourists gawk at the bridge

  • have you ever been to Thunder Bay?... it's not THAT bad. Duluth is beautiful! its so amazing there and the people r so nice! my favorite place! i would be happy to move there. 1989bryam- u cant judge 1 city on the WHOLE STATE! Duluth is a small city with not even 87,000 people...! I live in thunder bay and most of our "bars" look like that too! lol! we dont have bars like they have in Vegas.... lol

  • Duluth is fine for a visit. Don't move there, you will go insane.

  • man i want to move back there

  • I think the tittle is wrong because I didn't see any nightlife! The video sucks cause is so boringggg!!! I hope not all clubs in Minnesota are like that cause then I probably don't wanna go there anymore...

  • You think Duluth sucks? i LOVE duluth so much. I live 4 hous away in Thunder Bay. and i love going there! im going this Saturday im so excited. the shopping is amazing !

  • Duluth is nice, but Thunder Bay is a shithole.

  • Duluth sucks. Seriously. Everything she does will take 1 day then you'll be bored the rest of the time you're here unless you enjoy looking at a bunch of trees or you plan on getting hammered. FML

  • Where would you rather live?

  • Incubus, the problem is you and you're pathetic group of friends suck and don't know how to get off your lazy ass from your little bro parties.

  • Yeah? Did it take you 5 months to come up with that one? Way to go buddy

  • Naw, I just found this video tonight. So why don't you get bent, buddy.

  • i live in duluth and life in duluth doesnt suck this bad i love duluth esspecially the night life going to partys and shit

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah check out the ten commandment statue near the docks.

That's a real winner. The alcoholics are cool too.

  • Then we have Minneapolis which is were I moved back to in 2007 which is trying waaay too hard to be like Chicago or NYC and is failing miserably at.

Now I'm back in Duluth and happy with it.

  • and duluth is trying to be like San Fransisco.

  • Because it has hills and a large body of water?

  • Yea, but it succeeds. I've been to both places, and they certainly are similar... ie Big Bay, famous bridge, cold waters, hills, steep streets, hippies, etc...

  • @pnessgtr how?? I'm from the SF bay area but just spent the last few years in Duluth before finally leaving...Duluth = most boring town ever

  • I love Duluth!

  • Duluth has a nightlife?

  • thats what I was thinking LOL!

  • I can't believe what some of you are saying about Duluth! It's not that trashy, jeez. There's spots that are a bit of an eye sore but just as much as any other place! I lived in Duluth for 8 years and there's no other place I have found on Earth that has friendlier people. The physical beauty is out of this world. Hike Hartley to the top and you'll see what I'm saying. Go down to the beach. Go up the shore. Go on the rocks by Emerson. Go to Amazing Grace and people watch. Breathtaking!

  • while you wher at the FAMOUSE FITGURES, YOU FAILED TO MENTION IT WAS A VERRY POPULAR BEER IN ITS TIME, AND THAT WHEN PROHABIL CAME IT SHUT DOORS AND DID NOT REOPEN. it is now a 4 star hotel and shopping mall also. and many other attributes to the building, such as it once had a underground walkway to the PickWick. it was a part of fitgers at one time.

  • I grew up in Minnesota and lived a fair portion of my adult life there, too, until moving to the Pacific Northwest, where I now live. I've also lived in NYC, Washington DC and California. I've got to say it flat out -- Minnesota and Duluth are pretty much beyond compare. Duluth is an amazing place, full of history and yet cutting edge at the same time. I don't know of any other city in America that I've seen that has Duluth's drop-dead physical beauty, especially at night. Duluth is wonderful.

  • Jessie - you're a good time girl, sweetie! You know how to party!! LOL :) Would love to take all my friends here in London to Duluth. They would love it!!! x

  • ehh, you just have to go to the right places. i know it isn't that much to brag about but there are more people that are friendly. i live here and i love the place.

  • Yeah, I'm of pretty much the same opinion. I love Southern California way too much.

  • California is so overrated. I lived in San Diego and the SF Bay Area for a number of years. It's too fricken expensive and people in the SF Bay area think their sh*t doesn't stink.

  • People think that way everywhere. It's all about finding the little cracks between the jerks and suchlike.

New York offers a lot as well, if you're into counterculture.

  • Phoenix is really lame too. Minneapolis has such a better music scene.

  • Duluth is the only place in MN that i want to go see, if i get a good job i might live there.

  • Duluth Nightlife = doing the loop at the canal...not really but everyone does it anyway.

  • yeah I guess they wanted to leave solup town out of it....but it's all abolut the redstar... soup town is what made me want fitgers badly.. souptown is like one of them partys where everybodys trashin it wild style...drunk like a skunk

  • wow, I really enjoy her accent and the guy spitting on the ground before going in the pizza place, Duluth the town to tough to try. Such Class! Let's go to Grandmas for wings too

  • We salute Duluth

  • This was done for Explore Minnesota, not Explore Wisconsin, reason being whey we didnt go to Superior, WI...

  • Pretty woman

  • Oh i love Luce Pizza

  • looks more like a fieldtrip rather than a fun night out!

  • Wow. Just 32 seconds into the video and already you have a drink in your hand. Did any part of your visit not involve alcohol?

  • @unklscrufy Duluth is a bunch of drunks...because there is nothing else to do there, most boring city in America...maybe in the world too

  • It's not Duluth nightlife if you don't cross the bridge and go to Schultz's, the Anchor Bar, and the rest of Tower Ave!

  • Go Soup town!

  • LOL! How can you NOT visit downtown Soup Town if you're in Duluth...

  • i live i silver bay and mostly go to duluth for shopping and stuff and ive been on the vista fleet very fun lol

  • Great video. Come ride my bus at night and you will see the other side of Duluth night life.

  • I have gone to Duluth with friends... met up with friends many times as our half way point between Canada, were I am from and my friends form Minneapolis's. We LOVE Duluth... great city.. so beautiful.
