Guys, first of all I have to mention that Sunny by Boney M was not their original, That was a cover for the Song Sunny by Bobby Hebb in 1966. So Boney M them selfs copied it. Its a known thing that people add in their own twists to other's song and call it cover . So why not Illayaraja, and among 1000's of songs he composed, what if he copied a couple.

May be he heard and used the flow it goes in boney m sunny but not a original soundtrack...and the way she pronounce/rendered 'i love u' was the one matching exactly...rest all of the rythm/compositions was 100% different and not a copied one. Hear Boney M Sunny clearly with your ear before tagging it.
