Georgy had all the moves, she was a dancer, she was an entertainer knew what she was doing, love her, she could sing too, shame on zin, the other girl dressed like she was going for a job interview, Georgie dressed for the occasion.
@bouquetterose "The other girl" as you call it, her name is Magguy, i love her as euqally as I love Georgy because Magguy knew her self and she suited and paired up with Georgy very well. She never once tried to be like Georgy. She was her own person. And if you have any sense of how much having your own personality matters, then you would respect someone like that. I LOVE YOU MAGGUY and GEORGY, Miss u guys.
They were so young. The energy was there and they were giving it all. It is just to say the band was at its peak and we won't ever have the same version of ZIN.
They could certainly execute their old songs if they got back together, but would never perform with the same energy.
Nature will always take its course over time. Age factor is irreversible, that's what makes the beauty of life.
@rororemy it's true they were so young, now princess Georgy is about 55 (fifty five) years old, she is extremely old. Alan cave forget it, sa ce yon ti lepe. they will never have the same energy. they are senior citizens, they need to sit back and take care of their grandchildren.
@chiacgo That's a lie, Georgy can't be no 55 years old. but i got your point. Haitian music loss its flava anyway, all that immitation of American/R&B Music does nothing for me. Give me The old Zin, the old Zenglen, Papash, Emeline Michel, Sidon Joseph, people who were bright and did justice to Creole Music. Thank God for Zouk for remaining intact, that's all i listen to. Love you Georgy, always.
@illj25 i agree 100% ( Haitian music loss its flava anyway, all that immitation of American/R&B Music does nothing for me) . i don't know who told these artist that's the way to cross over. I don't mind when they sing in English etc but i hate when you go to a bal or buy a CD all you hear are hip/hop and R& B beats. What the hell. Yes Zouk music has kept their formula
georgy come back

Will someone please post a video or song of Zin's song entitled "Pas Decourage." I know it came out in the early 1990's.
