In an episode of Top Gear (English program) where they are going to go to Vietnam from south to north of Vietnam, met a poor man, who in 68, lost his hearing due to a bombing of a B-25
@sergynkov You are goddamm liar the US did not lose 31 B52,s in 12 days the christmas bombing of Hanoi in 1972 was aviation most sucessful bombing campaign you are nothing but jealous little turd
@jers59 I'm very sorry but this is so, they fell helplessly, like burnt moths and it was scary. I can imagine how hard it is for you to hear the bitter truth, but your Zionist government has never confessed and would not tell you about it.
@sergynkov From Russia LOL russianever built 1 good bomber you had to make illegal copy of the B29 bomber called TU4 in 1946 and that was piece of crap B52, is greatest bomber ever it flew against 1200 soviet SAMS 1972 and was victorious, F15 undefeated against soviet migs 105 to 0 M1 abrams is undefeated against russian tanks, where is Kursk?
The Christmas bombing in 1972 did hasten the North Vietnamese to go to the peace talks in Paris. Ho Chi Min reallised that the United States would bomb Saigon into oblivion.. The United States really never lost a war, but went to proove that this is what we will do to you, if you ever mess with us, meaning Russia. It worked Glad I was part of the 222 mechanized in 83 the russians looked sick with our hard hitting infantry mech
Well, actually the christmas 72 bombings did help. The 52 was finally deployed for strategic bombing. The results were that we got our POW pilots back and our involvement in the war mostly ended. Ask John McCain what he thinks of the B52. Only reason he got to come home and get a chance to run for president was because of the b52.
bob a country like vietnam didnt help much did it...i know that they use the craters after the bomb blasts to raise fish so something good came out of it.
Well that´s some kind of sarcasm. Impressive Footage, but yes, you can´t win a war by bombing a country back to the stone age. It wasn´t the bombing runs which made an end to World War 2
and so it didn´t really help to bomb North Vietnam. 5*
@BigPuschlerX Actually it was bombing that ended the second world war. Anyone happen to remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki? As many people would say violence doesn't end war... I say, 'Sadly, you are ignorant and mistaken. War is started and ended in violence, hence the name "War"'. So 'Big' try to be a little less ignorant, not that I think bombings are great...
The Vietnese were fucking scared of the B-52, because if it was coming your way, you were dead, there was no way to avoid it, and no way to stop it.
These things could destroy small mountains with the right loadout, so their only hope was either IT WASN'T coming in their direction, or DIDN't have the loadout to blow away whatever shelters they might have.
Yeah it will! It's going to be awesome when that thing finally flies. I have high hopes for it. If boeing got all the other aircraft off the ground, then why not this one.
now thats what i called raining hell

In Vietnam, american lost 2 / 3 of its air fleet. Once you have lost 31 B-52 for 12 days, you started to collect things and run from there. ,

It helped win ww2 for sure but it was really fucked up..
kaiserwilhelm 3 years ago
the tactical bombing of the germans their war factories helped to win the war in europe,
not the bombing of the german cities..
don't forget Vietnam got most of their wapons from other countries and hardly produced any themselfs

It was a heavy psychological weapon.
