whats the name of that green ant-tyoe?
could you post some wide angled shots of your colonies, so we can see the overall design and construction, they look very intricate... thanks!

Damn she is slow! When my small Camponotus colony moved, the queen (when she was finally ready) raced out and did not stop to look back

Well, these ants are used to move their queens, so this is probably a better strategy in the wild. A larger colony would have 200 workers over the queen at this moment. A camponotus colony probably never moves in the wild.
