You are all WRONG. Fire balls in super mario land are not fireballs at all. They are power balls for something. In my strategy guide thye had a pic of mario throwing one and it was a steel cannon ball type thing.

I probably could have done a better job with color selection. But this is my first, and only colorization of a B&W game. However, this is really the most worthwhile colorization of SML that you will find from anyone. All the others have issues, which I was able to resolve in mine.

Yes but normally when a fire is started from a digested flower then normally in Mario games the fire is orange.

They may look like fire flowers, but they aren't, because the ability it gives you is not throwing fireballs, but superballs, which bounce all around the screen instead of just along the ground. It's a different powerup.
