  • Shiv! How could you? i thought you liked Ebon!

  • Am I the only one who likes Batman more in "Batman the Animated Series"?

  • @blackhalo317 yes i do

  • where is robins parents and what batman season is that

  • @schasta98 i think their dead but that may be just in the batman i never watched the original

  • Which Robin is this?

I know Dick Grayson's robin costume was Green, and yellow ish.

And this Robin doesnt look that much like Tim Drake.

    please reply!

  • @manhuntruler2 looks like tim, just a bit older

  • I take it back from some angles Batman looks like in the first TAS seasons but wearing the TNAS suit

  • What's with Robin's hair? It looks like Dick's Robin hairstyle. And Batman looks like Justice League Unlimited Batman but in TAS colors

  • "can i help?"

    "probably not"

that's like circling or in the question do you love me yes or no

  • Which Robin is this one? That suit belongs to Tim Drake, right? But he doesn't look or sound like him...at least the one I know.

  • anyone else hear the joker say shit oh boy the the guy who can turn his hands in anything

  • super

  • Awwww, Joker has a picture of Harley.

  • 9keith1 I dunno...

  • If you are reading this what would you do to work with batman?

  • @9keith1 eat 3 pounds of burgers.

  • @9keith1 To work with Batman, I'd be rocketed from my doomed home world of Krypton, be raised by good Christian farmers, Fall in love with the world's hotest hot-head reporter lady after getting work as a mild mannered reporter for a great metropolen news paper & fight a never ending battle for Truth, Justice and The American Way!

  • Joker, Harley, and Shiv. Perfect team. That's all I'm saying

  • Batman can manipulate the weather so he always has a lighting storm on his entrance.

  • Ahhh my favorite heroes in one cartoon, static actually was in a justice league unlimited episode one time but he was much older

  • @201220005 I wish he was in it a bit younger.

  • @angelica536 but of course

  • Every time I hear Hotstreak talk, I just hear Jack Spicer.

  • All of a sudden things turn dark

  • Batman's entrance always makes me LOL!

  • As soon as Batman comes in, everything gets all dark...

  • @Violetvee8 and plays part of the 89 theme

  • I swear I think shiv is related to Joker XD

  • LIGHTENING CRASH

    "What did this to you?"

    "Not what. Who."

    LIGHTENING CRASH.

"And thatnks for the speccial effects, Static. That's pretty cool."

  • I love how Batman essentially needs Robin to play PR agent for him here.

  • THis episode, has a red costumed robin, and nice to bruce, this indicates a strong lead toTim, sure... timeline does NOT fit though, as the next time we see a DC crossover with Robin, he is cranky, and not liking Bruce so much, giving points to him being Dick. then we have the episode BETWEEN! that where batman tells Static that Robin is with the Teen Titans... THAT robin happens to be Dick, no question, period. Costume, tim's, timeline and later indicator personality? DICK! focus on everything

  • @KageGodo It's Tim. Costume, voice, art style. In the DCAU, Tim started to get cranky with Bats as well. At this point in the DCAU, Dick is Nightwing. Even before that, though, he was still a college student- too big to be that Robin. In the comics, Tim led the Titans a couple of times as well, so it doesn't have to be Dick who's with the Titans. If you're talking about the Teen Titans show, that takes place in a seperate universe than the DCAU, so it means nothing here.

  • @RainbowPowerRangerX I will admitmy research is not ALWAYS spot on, and i thought i got all the info from tim i could carry, but this is new. The SHOW is not what i am talking about, and even then the show has strong ties to the real info. Dick DID create the team as i gathered from real info, and was on/off dozens of times. this is the firstsomeone told me off with REAL info and not just bull, congrats, im impressed.thank you for the information and happy holidays

  • @KageGodo yeah but if you saw the new batman adventures these crossovers are in that timeline and even Tim Drake was getting irritated with Batman! there's also proof of Tim not liking him in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker check it out when you get the chance

  • 2:17 batman says thank you

must not be the real one

  • Because opening a manhole would be too heavy for Bats :P

  • Awww, The Joker had a picture of Harley on his desk!!

  • @TexasCutie369 does he love her or not? they nvr really convince you one way or the other

  • 0:45 I'm Batman

  • So this Robin is Tim Drake right?

  • @angelica536 Yes.

  • Do you guys think Hamill's wife goes, show me Luke Skywalker or talk in that Joker voice? I am leaning more towards the voice lol.

  • Ive watched this show before I'm just refreshing. My memory

    Ls

  • Me too

    Dude

  • One of my favorite episodes :D

  • BATMAN AND ROBIN + STATIC = TOTAL EPIC OVERLOAD OF COMPLETE EPICOSITY!

  • Ive said once and I'll say it again batman knows how to make an entrence

  • MrXavier789 how can you be 7 years old and watchedc this episode if you are 21 and this came out in 2000 so you was like 11 when it came out

  • @doggypower1 Why are you making these assumptions? It's not like you know him in real life.

  • kind ofa dumb move on batmans part, Staitic's dealt with the Metabreed longer, he knows how to fight them, he knows what to expect, these guys are not liek the jokers old crew, they actually have powers, thats taking it up a notch from what Batman and Robin are used to dealing with

  • I remember watching this episode when I was 7, especially at 0:39.

  • 4:17 it looks like the joker paid a visit to michale scott.

  • Omg Batman and Robin! This is now one of my favorite episodes

  • GUYS!! LISTEN UP! the Batman TAS has a couple yrs missing between the rebute, and it messes with the time frame for everything else. to put it simply: THEY MESSED UP ON THE ROBIN THING, GET OVER IT! no offense, but it took too long and too many people on wich robin it is. (Dick)

  • "The Bat, that's who. Here in Dakota, with his little bird boy" LMFAO

  • not one, who? BEST LINE EVER

  • and his little bird boy. LOL poor Robin

  • just noticed- richie changed glasses :)

  • wow, Tim (or Dick) is super nice!

  • Halfway through this episode with Mark Hamill's Joker and the bad metahumans teaming up, I kept thinking there was no way this crossover could get even better. But the second I heard Conroy's voice and saw Batman show up out of the dark corner, all I could say was OMFG!!!!!! THINGS ARE GOING TO GET REALLY BADASS NOW!!!!!!! Dwayne McDuffe, you are a genius. You will never be forgotten.

  • Dark Hospital room, thunder outside, crazy laughing gas induced guy on the bed. They were just begging Batman to show up from the window.

  • eeeee! *girly screams* BAATTMANNN!!!

  • 8.5) He’s exactly the same with him in TNBA (that too makes me wonder about his hair. Was he just trying to change style there? Lol. Cos it’s not Tim’s usual hair nor Dick’s.).

Feel free to correct me (cos I'm confused as well lol).

    Are we good here?

  • 8) BUT THEN AGAIN, Dick’s retiring just after he’s finished college, as far as I remember. So unless he have accelerated growth spurt & super genius brain, or Batman & Static live in different relativity of time, it’s nonsense that timeline could happen in just… 20-something ep & Virgil being always a high schooler. And in Future Shock, the Robin there is clearly Tim.

  • 7) Now why I doubt it’s Tim: He’s depicted being slightly older & different here. And we know in canon Tim NEVER given the chance to grow up being Robin thanks to Joker. So it’s just fit where you put it’s Dick with timeline: Dick dons the red suit > this episode > he left for the Titans (whichever Titans it is) > he’s back with Batman again just to retire > travelling a year round the world > become Nightwing > Tim become Robin > Future Shock episode (which have Tim, no doubt.)

  • 5) TeenTitansGo, I think, is out of DCAU continuity. Cos its timeline just doesn't fit (but I could be wrong, tough I believe I'm right). Robin in TTG is clearly Dick. So the Titans Batman mentioned in later episode is not the one we know in TTG, it’s another which we never see. It could be entirely different team, or, if TTG IS in DCAU continuity, next incarnation of TTG Titans where it have Tim in it.

    6) We see the kid out of costume on in this very episode. Isn’t it clear it’s him?

  • 4) The red Robin costume is always Tim's. In the comic (for tribute to Superboy) & in DCAU here (from the very start). I know when the first time he sees it in Batcave he said that's a 'real Robin suit' (meaning it's formerly Dick's) but when Dick retired, he's seen still wears the green (meaning he never change to all red), so red suit = associated with Tim. If it's Dick, why don't give him green?

  • 3) DCAU never has a Jason Todd. He's only around in DCU. So he's out. They just give Tim's red suit to him in Under the Red Hood (which sets in DCU. Not DCAU). So in DCAU Tim is the second Robin, not the Third. DCAU never has the third. Nor it has fourth (Stephanie) & fifth (Damian).

    Okay?

Now why I think it’s Tim:

  • Come back watching this online & I'm amused people still always arguing who actually that kid is despite many had tried to explain (& this is in Static Shock episode, not a Batman title. We’re talking about ROBIN lol). Can I help? My take:

    Facts:

    1) DCAU (cartoon universe) isn't DCU (comic universe).

    2) Teen Titans Go cartoon, MAYBE sets in DCAU, MAYBE NOT (thus sets in another timeline). Robin there is in fact Dick. Many hints about that.

  • Holy shit! Batman and robin! What the pinky and the brain?!

  • I LOVE YOU ROBIN, YOUR SO NICE AND FRIENDLY OH AND I LUV YOU TO BATMAN!! ><

  • And thus Static was established in the Timmverse. and we all Squee'd. XD

  • "Not what. Who." *CUE DAT BAT ASS MUSIC*

  • Anyone else feel bad knowing what Joker does to poor Tim in the near future?

  • @SilverWolfFullMoon that always gives me creeps till now. Traumatizing (but awesome) show..

  • @suzukisan60 I agree.

  • The problem is the music. When Batman shows up, it's like an old video-game from the early 90's... I can't stand it!

  • THIS ROBIN IS A FISH

    Now just watch the cartoon.

  • all right toomany comments to be real... UGH! This robin, and the Robin in the future episode of this show is DICK GRAYSON! NOT TIM DRAKE!..... just to make clear.

  • @KageGodo No the Robin in this is Tim Drake, Dick is already skipped out and leading the Teen Titans at this point. I think Batman points this out later.

  • @SilverWolfFullMoon if you have not been reading... until Dick becomes Nightwing he is the one and only robin in history of the bat and bird team. MEANING! as this timeline in which these episodes take place, Robin is Dick, animators who do crossovers for cartoons like this tend to mix information up, with somany comics and colors for Robin it's hard to pinpoint who is who. Dick, until he becomes nightwing, is the ONLY Robin. meaning till Robin from the Titans loses it, he is Robin. period

  • @KageGodo No it's Tim, later in the series Batman even says that he is the second Robin is with the Titans and Static will meet them some day. Teen Titans = Dick Grayson Robin, Red Robin in this episode = Tim.

  • @SilverWolfFullMoon you REALLY have your wires crossed on this. because the time line does NOT lie. a year or two passes from this episode, to the JLU crossover episodes, meaning if it was tim, then in this entire series Dick never existed. which is bullhiockey if i ever heard it... the Red Robin is actually NOT tim drake, but Jason Todd, the SECOND robin, Tim was the THIRD robin. jason died as the Red Robin, and revived to become the New Red Hood.

  • @KageGodo NOT to mention the fact of the matter that in order for EITHER jason OR Tim who are YEARS apart (all robins except the fourth i think grew up from childhood to be GROWN Robins in the future.) to be Robin in the first place, as i have said before, Dick grayson has to bequeath his title as Robin and adopt the Nightwing persona, who he gins thanks to Supermans Krypton Legends. and he doesn't do that in a year, but 3 years.

  • @KageGodo Jason actually had the original red and green outfit but they changed it for Tim so he was the Red Robin and dont you dare tell me the order and number of the Robins. The Robin and this and later are the same ones, both Tim, but Dick Grayson has already moved on to the Titans and Jason has already been presumed dead.

  • @SilverWolfFullMoon actually.... no... Dick was the original Pixie coloring, and you may need to read up on at least the dang Batman Official Wiki... and i never said he didn't have the original red and green, i said he became the Red Robin and died so. and THAT is true, Tim never became the Red Robin. he just wore more red then usual. as for your timeline, you are suggesting that 2-3 robins exist at the exact same place in time as eachother. Batman made sure only 1 robin existed at a time

  • @KageGodo I beg your pardon? Listen, I don't mind a friendly debate over which Robin is which but don't you ever insult my knowledge on Batman! Dick Grayson and Tim Drake are existing as Robins at the same time in two different cities in this. That Robin with Batman now is too young and wearing the wrong costume to be Dick, so it is either Jason or Tim but they don't mention Jason in the cartoons. It is also the same Robin with Batman later in the series when Batman mentions the Titans Robin.

  • @SilverWolfFullMoon i never insulted your intellect on batman, i'm just telling you this... jason, mentioned in the toons or not, is still a viable Robin and important character in the Batman DC universe. and it takes a few years from kid Jason, to death by Joker older Jason. and once more, Batman would not allow 2 robins to exist at one time, so if there is a Robin in the Titans, then neither Jason or TIm are existant as a Robin. Tim is NOT an official Robin without Batman.

  • @KageGodo Later in the series, the Robin in this episode mentions that he wasn't the first Robin and Static asks Batman where where the other Robin is and Batman says, and I quote, 'He's with the Titans, you'll meet them some day." I don't know where you're your supposed to be going with Jason being important. I know he is important but not mentioned here. I'm just saying the Robin here is Tim and Dick is with the Titans. End of discussion.

  • @SilverWolfFullMoon actually all evidence points to the contrary. Later in the series with nails with ivy and harley, Batman is flying solo and says that, the next time Robin appears, and might i mention in this one he mentions he is getting a little old for the "boy" wonder crud, and in later episode is VERY sour with batsy. Typical Dick in his later years as Robin. and also if Dick is Robin and Tim is Robin at the same time, what happened to Jason in one year? you are not seeing the timeline

  • @KageGodo They don't mention Jason in the cartoon, they consider it too violent. They made a movie The Red Hood but that was about it. Other than that, the only reference we have to him is what happened to Tim in the Batman Beyond movie but even that was Tim not Jason.

  • @SilverWolfFullMoon look... say we forgo every evidence i have... the 1-2 years timeline, the fact batman nevr let 2 robins exist at the same time, and jason's experience's left aside... the Slightly older Robin with his normal red costume working beside batsy points to TIm... and if that were it, i'd have to agree... but again, the 1-2 years timeline of Static Shock, along with a Robin with the Titans, Tim does not exist as a Robin yet. nor does Jason, thus all REAL evidence points to Dick.

  • and this my friends is fanfiction done right!

  • What version of the batman series is this theres way 2 many can someone help me?

  • @josetheevilmuffin This actually isn't a Batman series. This is a series called Static Shock. So it's basically about Static/Virgil, the guy who uses electricity as his power. Batman only appears once in a while in this series since he's not a regular. Pretty much, he just guest stars on a few episodes.

  • wait... the purple haired guy's name is shiv?

  • It's batman's sworn duty to answer rhetorical questions.

  • Okay either Tim Drake is older than he sounds, tall for his age, or Virgil is a midget.

  • @Doctor4077 Tim is probably 14 or 15 in this esp

  • @biguy617 BZZZZT wrong... that's not tim, it's Dick. later on there are 2 other batman crossovers, the next one to arrive has static helping a solo Batman strike harley and ivy who are trying to use a metahuman to their advantage, Robin nowhere to be found, another is a robin and batman strained relationship.... and then theres a JL crossover between the two i think.... where Batman tells static that Robin left on his own to start a group called the Teen Titans.

  • ahh i remember the days i miss this show and i miss being a kid lol

  • :O ITS BATMAN AND ROBIN.....:D I LOOOOVE IIIT

  • Why is batman being such a dick to Static Shock?

  • @TheIronGentleman12 bcus batman sees his potential and knows tht if hes hard on him it will make him try harder

  • @TheIronGentleman12

Batman is a dick to everyone. You haven't figured that out yet?

  • And in future shock that is TIM Drake only older

  • @sheedj22 this robin? from this episode? you are VERY wrong my friend... that's Dick, trust me, later episodes reveal him to leave to start the Teen Titans, and the relationship with batman is strained.

  • Wrong its not its TIM Drake and always been TIM Drake Dick grayson when he was robin he was in his later teens u need to watch all the Batman series including the Batman superman adventure they are all connected including the epsidoe of Dick punching Bruce and leaving as robin then 9 epsiodes later he comes back as nightwing during this epsiode TIM Drake becomes the new robin and later becomes red robin when in the comics the robin you see in arkum city is TIM Drake only older.

  • @sheedj22 oh how wrong you are. there are five robins in total in the batman gotham city section of the DC universe. during the time line of Static shock, batman mentioned Robin being with the titans, THAT was dick, but there cannot be 2 robins, so batman has to go to Dick to tell him to stop being robin, thus he becomes nightwing, that is in the Wiki. and Tim NEVER became the red robin, that was jason todd the second robin, Tim was third. jason died by joker and came back as the new red hood

  • @KageGodo get over Urself dude there's only two robins in the whole Batman series Dick grayson and TIM Drake you need to watch the first epsiode of that series and continue

  • @sheedj22 look when i said there cant be 2 robins, i meant 2 robins AT THE SAME TIME! meaning for TIm to ever take the mantle of Robin, Dick would have to give it up.... ALSO!!! There are not 2... there are 5 robins, i know all five. i know Dick as the first, jason Todd as the scond, Tim as the third, the fourth was Stephanie, yes a GIRL Robin, and the fifth was Damien Wayne, yes bruce waynes actual blood child, born from Talia Al Ghul, Ras al gul's daughter.

  • Comment removed

  • So naive the Batman never told Dick to stop being robin Dick quit when him and Batman had in altercation then he left

  • @jd u have watcch the whole Batman series they all connect

  • ok WTF this Robin is Tim Drake but in Future Shock Robin is Dick Grayson?

  • Fuck you Static. And seeing this Robin is weird... I want Dick Grayson!!!

  • I wish they just had Batman, not Robin.

  • robin sounds like a subadult

  • LOL, the dramatic lightning with Batman's first enterance :-P

  • ahhhh yeha i fcking love BATMAN

  • Awwww Joker has a picture of Harley on his desk! And people say he doesn't care...

  • @fallenangeldemon Shiv said earlier that Ebon's in jail, and Joker's hair is green, it's the lighting that made it darker. Look closely at the shiny part of his hair, you can tell it's green.

  • wasn't joker's hair green? and what happen to ebon?

  • HA! Mark Hamill!

  • Wasn't Tim drake tortured to the point of instanity...or was this before that and if it was in the later episode (no not this one) how was robin "With the titans" then? I am so lost...

  • @Kittygirl1998 That was in the Batman Beyond movie: Return of the Joker (Barbara Gordon explains to Terry about how Tim Drake was tortured by the Joker. I don't really want to give away spoilers, but you can look it up. So, chronologically, I think this episode came first, since Robin's in it, and then the Nails episode, where Batman says "with the Titans" was next? (I could be totally off). Then the torture didn't happen until a couple years later, because it marked the end of Drake's career.

  • @coolkoreankid Wow Brain Hurt..

  • @Kittygirl1998 The Robin that was "With the Titains" Refers to Dick Grayson. It could be when he was in his later years and already Nightwing, which is why he no longer works with Batman. The Robin here is Tim Drake, and he was tortured to the point of insanity at a later date.

  • @ThatOneRandamKidd Still brain hurt..

  • Shiv and Joker, such a great pairing of minds.

  • This episode just keeps getting epiccer and epiccer.

  • hehe he has a picture of Harley C:

  • Batman & Robin? This must be serious.

  • The Joker may not have powers but I think he could beat Superman

  • @RodDePlata yep and he did in the superman batman movie

  • D'awwwwww, Joker brought a picture of Harley with him <3

  • The Metahumans & the Joker. Now that's what I call a "deadly combination".

  • purple hair red coat is like a junior joker XD

  • Everyone I'm an idiot. I ment to say " Everyone who thinks this is Dick is right."

  • @DRAI517 Wait, I thought this WAS Tim? I mean, Dick Grayson is Nightwing by the time this show started in the DCAU, right? Also, when he was Robin he was a lot taller than this.

  • Btw wheres the Shaq ep? I thought of it when Shiv said Hyde.I knew we should have Kangor and Ferret before this.

  • @DRAI517 you probably got to it already but its ep 17

  • Everyone who says this is Dick is wrong. Episode 25: Static asks Bats "Where's Robin?" Bats says "He's with the Titans." Later in ep 40 there's a different Robin(Tim). I know y'all would think it's Tim by the costume but in Batman ep Sins of the Father there's the same one( in the thing Bats them in) and Tim puts it on with out Bats approval. They made the timeline of this show the same the other DC series. I did always hope they did an ep with the Titans.

  • 0:40 reminds me of the scene in the batman mask of the phantasm when batman interrogates councilman reeves.

  • OMG its Robin

  • Okkk. Its kinda weird watching robin here after I just watched the totally cool butt kicking leader robin on teen titan.

  • @kfa888 thats dick grayson this is tim drake

  • CAN YOU PLZ TELL ME WHRE CAN I DOWNLOAD STATIC SHOCK ALL EPS HIGH QUALIY TORRENT

  • static robin not even you your level so don't trip lol

  • Talon: Blue Yoshi

    Hotstreak: Red Yoshi

    Kangorr: Yellow Yoshi

  • @glebs what about shiv?

  • aww, joker misses harley.

he really does care for her, doesn't he?

in his own, crazy assed way that is.

  • Danm I'd been happy to just be their waiter XD

  • awwwww joker actually miss batman bcuz he see him as a challenge.

  • who ever dislikes static shock, cut off there own dick when they were goin through puberty

  • lol, why must Batman ALWAYS make his epic entrance during a thunderstorm? Think about it; every time he goes to confront somebody, there's a thunderstorm outside. The intro to his show has a flash of lightning at the end. And I'm PRETTY sure the first time he donned the cowl was the night of the biggest thunderstorm in Gotham history.

  • @ztslovebird cause nature is his bitch!

it does whatever the fuck he wants it to! XD

  • Shiv and Joker go so well together, lol.

  • Static Shock+Batman+Robin+The Joker= LEGIT EPISODE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dude, Robin is voiced by the same guy that played Hogarth from The Iron Giant.

  • @Kmuly Tim Drake is the third Robin. The first was Dick Grayson and the second was Jason Todd.

  • love the music that plays when batman and robin show up.

when the joker is bored be very afraid!!!

  • Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmmm<3

    OH GOD.

    I love Tim.

  • 5 against 3? Good odds for Batman and Robin.

  • It shouldn't surprise me that they used joker, he weres purple all the time, and this show centers aroudn the color purple

  • I love how the Joker has a picture of Harley Quinn on his Desk.

  • god tim is so chill

  • YAY Timmy!
