You have to click the "Playstation Bios Files" download now. In there there is the file needed which is the one with the ending 1001

@84forestfan I had that problem too. Before you close ePSXe, right click on sound and open volume mixer. You should see ePSXe. Mute it. If you want to play again, do the same thing but un-mute it (must have it open!!). First time I had it was on Spyro 1 and I was like, "Huh,wha?"

The link to get the zlib1.dll file isn't giving me the option to download it. I'm aware that it's probably just a glitch in the site or something, but is there another site I could use? I've already tried two others but they're not working, and I don't want to keep downloading files from all over the internet. Any ideas?

wanted to change the size of the screen, did that but the sound of the game continued as if the program was still running, any reason you would know why? Or did i do something wrong? When opened the emulator and ran the game again if cancelled out the old sound but the sound had a repeat very noticeable with speech and the game slows done occasionally. Would appreciate some enlightenment since in pretty weak on this area! Cheers!

Hi there, first of all great video, i found it very helpful since i'm clueless on these things! I have some queries though, i have followed the tutorial step-by-step both with the emulator and a game. To start with everything seemed fine except no sound config, just says "ePSXe SPU Core doesn't need configuration" so far not been a problem since im happy with the sound. @amazzinak configure the controller. go to config, gamepad, port 1,pad 1 and choose which buttons on the keyboard correspond to the buttons on epsxe. an xbox 360 wired controller is better though

@chef123 no it's probably the video plugin. try messing with the fps set it to 30. experiment until it runs perfect.

**Attention anyone who wants the original startup screen in epsxe 1.7.***

Right click on the shortcut to epsxe on the desktop, go to properties, at the end of the "target" field, space then add -slowboot

Now everytime you run a game you get the full experience!

**you can also get more memory cards by entering the "memcard" folder in epsxe and copy/pasting the memory cards. just rename new memory card "epsxe003.mcr" if you want more then use 4,5,6,7 etc.
