  • Shasta came out with some incredibly sick commercials during the 1970s, all of them shown during Saturday morning kids shows on network television. This one is arguably the most memorable because I just can't seem to shake it out of my head. Must've been the 3D effects of 0:26. Note Barry Williams threatening to tsunami the cameraman.

  • This thing looks like they took their cue from Monty Python.

  • this is like a variation on "rocky horror picture show," with barry as dr. frank-n-furter.

  • So how is this any better or worse than a good Faygo ad? I was a teenager and I drank Shasta...still do!

  • My name is Shasta, and I approve this message(: (no seriously, my name is Shasta.:P

  • @UnnecessarySarcasm I've driven past your mountain!

  • @steadfastcoward Awesome!:D I've only flown over it...but it still looks pretty(:

  • Steel cans!

  • Great video

  • so Orange!

  • I like Ms. Sprint.

  • 14 IS more fun than one.

  • Wow, crazy

  • I was one of the dancing knights in this! I paid for law school doing commercials in the 70's! Thanks for posting I was just thinking about this a few weeks ago.

  • On second thought, let's not have Shasta. It is a silly soda.

  • @jstrewth

When I was a kid in the 80's, you could find Shasta cans sometimes on sale for like 8 for a dollar. No kidding.

  • "Desperate for work"? As if there's something wrong with an actor doing a commercial? Please, learn something about the acting business before you mouth off.

  • @DLCKingsoup If you're Barry Williams, I apologize. Still seems like you could have gotten something better than this at that point.

  • @DLCKingsoup

As a matter of fact...it was my recollection that Barry Williams saved a lot of the Brady Bunch money he made and did very well for himself. It pretty much was his choice to get out of Hollywood for awhile..before returning back in the early 2000's writing that book Growing up Brady.

  • This commercial actually came out summer 1976. I remember it well.

  • I have been searching for this commercial for years and it showed up on YouTube recently!

  • Did you upload this before?

  • @heine71 Yes- this is in better quality.
