  • Zero people were run over by - wait, zero. There goes my whatchamacallit :P.

  • Good work, but those are not voxels, those are just cubes. cube != voxel

  • @jrkirby93 I thought one Voxel is still a cube?

  • @Storkner a voxel is a 3D data structure, at any point on a 3D grid, there either is a cube, or isn't. It's like pixels: yes they are squares, but if you had a bunch of squares all over your screen, you wouldn't call them pixels. I would link to the wikipedia page for voxels, but youtube wouldn't let me. If you still dont get it, go there.

  • @Storkner

definitely not voxels, voxels don't rotate

  • @Storkner voxels tend to be cubes, but cubes are not voxels. A voxel (volume pixel) is the 3D equivalent of a pixel (picture element). Likewise, pixels tend to be squares, but not all squares are pixels.

  • @Storkner no, voxels can't rotate like this, they all must be at the same degree at the same moment. You can rotate all of them at once, or make each an object in it's own voxel space, then rotating the voxel space, but that would be extremely performance hungry.

  • @Storkner Nope, a Voxel is a volumetric pixel. Cubes six polygons stuck together. Voxels have to be axis-aligned, cubes do not. Voxels look like cubes for the same reason that pixels are (usually) square: because they make the most sense that way.

  • @Storkner one voxel can be represented as a cube, but a voxel is not a cube, it's a point in 3D space

  • @Storkner 1 voxel is an axis aligned cube. but arbitrary cubes have nothing to do with voxels.

  • @Storkner a voxel is a volumetric pixel with a fixed volume. cubes are not voxels unless they appear at fixed intervals in space (that space must match the dimensions of the voxels) so anything that rotates or passes between these fixed intervals is just a cube.

  • This can not be not beautiful

  • Because I searched for "Lonely Planet" and it gives me "Ambient Journeys" albums with some jazz, I do love jazz music, but I want to find this song.

  • Hello, Can you please write a name for that beautiful song in description or here in comments ?

  • How many packets of jello did you use?

  • @usbfridge I don't know it exactly but i think it was about 5000

  • @Storkner Looks more like a bit over 9000.

  • chic

  • nicely done =)

  • very nice! the song makes it even better. what is that song called?

  • @BlenderBeast97 Lonely Planet

  • cool, hast du das jetzt mit smallluxgpu gemacht? wäre cool wenn sich die cube zu deinem namen oder so aufbauen

  • @L1993H ja könnte man noch machen =) und ja das ist mit Small Lux GPU gemacht ^^

  • @Storkner Wow, sehr geniales Video.

    Respekt ;)

p.s. hast nen neuen Abonnenten ;)

  • @jailbreaker321 Ja, im luxrender forum unter core engine aber du musst da im forum registriert sein um es lesen zu können. Aber da wird alles schön erklärt =)

    und thx für abo :D
