WTF ARE YOU DOING! If you dont CONNECT THE THINGYMEWHATSIT TO THE DOOHICKEY YOU COULD CAUSE A RIP IN THE SPACE TIME Continuum THAT WILL TELEPORT THE COILS INTO ANOTHER DIMENSION, CAUSING THE COPPER TO SNED OUT AN ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSE THAT INSTANTLY VAPORISES ALL COPPER WITHING 200 MILLION LIGHTYEARS!
ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? AT LEAST TRY THIS EXPERIMENT IN AN IRRADIATED ENVIROMENT BEFORE YOU TRY THIS AGAIN!
@wakkatidus1234 i didn't want to say this, i was maby commenting on the wrong video, or wanted to answer but posted it only so (i cant finde the original) the experiment is fantastic, i like it, but somene said thing like anti-gravitation lift and so... mayby i was wring sorry for that!
This is really cool. I am working on a DIY induction heater. I wish that your video was just a little longer showing the impurities in the copper burning, dropping it into the bowl, then removing it from the water showing the shape. Thanks for the upload though.
@Deadzo First of all what do you mean when you say "opposing magnetic fields coiled around the metal"? I think you should reconsider that statement. And I disagree with Ambrellinduction. You would get neither the levitation or the melt. The magnetic fields in the video are alternating. If you place a copper sphere into a steady magnetic field (like the situation you suggest), it would just drop through it.
If you think about it, it is easily possible. Just use a power station to generate the huge magnetic field. It is theoretically posssible to levitate a million tonne lump of metal, you would just have to turn a whole country into a power station. There are almost no limits!
you need a better cam dude. also i wanted to see it drop into the water :(

do you read what you write or are you writing this shit without thinking
do you know anything about physics? this is f***3 bullshit, usually I dont speak like this, but thats only the truth in this case...
go in a library and get some serious books about this, then talk again...

@greenhorny11
I hope your not saying the experiment is bullshit because if you do you obviously don't know shit about electrons/electricity and magnetism.

What is the coil made of??? is it ordinary copper piping??? please answer..
nemezback 3 years ago
The coil is 3/16" copper refrigeration tubing. Cooling water flows through it.
Ambrellinduction 3 years ago
ok.. thanks :))
nemezback 3 years ago
@Ambrellinduction what would you have to study to learn how to do this stuff and understand it?
niddasa 7 months ago
How is this different from two opposing magnets pushing against each other?
If you had opposing magnetic fields coiled around the metal it would "levitate" too right? Without the heat.
Deadzo 3 years ago
Yes you are correct. We would be able to levitate but no heat would be produced. You would get the levitation without the melt!

this is something!!! would this be sane to lift up a 50 ton brick using the same techniq
viesturstube 3 years ago
i havent seen any uses for 50 tonne bricks, but yes it is possible
LizzyAston 3 years ago
How would you power a machine that could magnetically lift a 50,000 pound chunk?
Monorail maybe, not sure if that's cheating though?

Very cool! I've seen many videos of induction heaters melting various metals, but I've never seen one levitate the molten metal! Nice work!
