Dana was boring and even though she was cute she was so demanding and whiny. I think Terry and Dana shouldn't have really lasted. Her appearance in Epilogue seemed weird, she was whiny about Terry's obligations but she knew how important they were.
does anyone else think that dana tan resembles lana lang from smallville?. Both are high maintainance cutesy asian types. With melinda it was fun because they both knew at any moment he could be killed or she could be sent to prison.

They should make the "return of the Jokey" into the live-action one. I could see it working. Terry is definitely my favorite batman character so far out of the comics and cartons, though Nightwing was underplayed in the whole series though.
Haha, I know. I couldn't help myself. This song was so perfect in my eyes for how I feel about Dana. She's a snotty, selfish little princess through most of the series and I honestly felt Terry could have done better. Besides, Bruce Timm & co basically admitted she was a "place holder" girlfriend since Terry just needed to have her for the tension.
Here's something for you to think about.....and I mean, seriously think, hard. If Melanie had really left her family, given up her criminal ways, and went with Terry, would it have worked up? Would she have told Terry about her past? Would Terry have told her about Bruce? Would Terry really have been able to give up Batman for Melanie? And Dana. With the way things would have ended so abruptly, with no real closure, would he stayed away? (the guy obviously has commitment issues)
If you want my honest opinion, I never thought Melanie was Terry's end-all, be-all true love. I think they had young love, which is beautiful and should be preserved, but nothing long term. I personally would have loved to see him with Max. Max was already his best friend and understood him far better than either Melanie or Dana. They had tons of sexual tension later on. As a matter of fact, producer Alan Burnett wanted them together but Bruce Timm turned the idea down.

So she can't help but feel jealous and it's really hard to wait around forever for the guy to change. A relationship is about commitment and I know it's not Terry's fault...but his actions make Dana think that he's not committed.

Not to be rude or anything but...are you serious? Dana bitched at him for half of the series. Not to say that it was fair to her, but she got jealous because he was talking to a girl WHO LIVES IN A BUBBLE. Who gets jealous of that??? I feel that Dana was really insecure with Terry being constantly away, and scared of losing him. She really cares for him, but there are times when she just wanted to give up on him and move on. I see your point and that's what I hear from most of the reasonable fans. Most don't like Melanie and I can understand why. I don't actually think Mel and Ter could have been "happily ever after" but they could have had a more...passionate relationship. Dana just doesn't seem patient enough to wait for their relationship to work out.
I thought melanie would have been a better choice then because even though she was only in two episodes she actually had more character development in the first episode than dana ever did and they could have gone somewhere with her character, dana always did the same thing every time throughout the run of the show, and constantly on the verge of breaking up, then ten years later its all good somehow and he is going to propose.

The blonde is Melanie Walker, a girl Terry falls for who is also a criminal in a gang called the Royal Flush Gang. The episodes I used were "Dead Man's Hand" and "Once Burned".

Not to be rude or anything but...are you serious? Dana bitched at him for half of the series. Not to say that it was fair to her, but she got jealous because he was talking to a girl WHO LIVES IN A BUBBLE. Who gets jealous of that??? Dana is just too shallow for Terry in my opinion, which is why over half the fandom hates her. :D But again, that's just my opinion. No offense.

I gotta agree with you.
I feel that Dana was really insecure with Terry being constantly away, and scared of losing him. She really cares for him, but there are times when she just wanted to give up on him and move on. Being like this, I thought it was natural for her to feel jealous every time he's with another girl, or angry/upset.
I don't like Mel, I'm ashamed of being a girl, with her throwing her body at Terry. She's so cheap in my opinion. I mean, where's her dignity?

I see your point and that's what I hear from most of the reasonable fans. Most don't like Melanie and I can understand why. I don't actually think Mel and Ter could have been "happily ever after" but they could have had a more...passionate relationship. Dana just doesn't seem patient enough to wait for their relationship to work out.

I thought melanie would have been a better choice then because even though she was only in two episodes she actually had more character development in the first episode than dana ever did and they could have gone somewhere with her character, dana always did the same thing every time throughout the run of the show, and constantly on the verge of breaking up, then ten years later its all good somehow and he is going to propose.

Not really, I mean Melanie was Terry's Catwoman and Bruce didn't end up with Selina(or anyone). That was mainly Teen Lust though.
Personaly if Terry would have dumped Dana for someone it would have been Max.

How true. But I'm afraid the writers don't see it that way. It'd be nice to see some fresh blood on Cartoon Network or the WB. Something that isn't a bad revamp of something else or anime-related (no offence, anybody). Also, prefferably something that doesn't involve cartoon girls who are grossly disproportionate to how our bodies *should* look.

Rockin' video. Yes, I did just say "rockin'". However, it completely conteracts my video (I had just uploaded it when I saw your new one). Mine's... kind of an angry, Terry-yelling-at-Melanie-for-being-so-unreliable sorta thing. Not that it matters, really. :P
Oh, and, by the way, I loved what you said about the Dana thing... shh. Don't mention it to the writers. They don't like to hear mass amounts of their viewers hate a character. They might have reason to kill her off, hmm?
