close-quarters combat defense. Of course, you can't do it in the game but if it was IRL then of course Samus would melee (kick/punch/headbutts etc.) That's like saying "why punch when you're master chief and you can shoot sniper/rockets/shotgun/plasma/­throw grenades instead?"

Melee is always necessary. (Like I said, IRL. If the game had it, it'd be more helpful though)

at most critical times in the fights u go out of hypermode 2 early and corruption does even more damage then hypermode does just dont let ur PED bar get full or else u die and it regenerates so u can stay in it for 30 secs very useful srry just pionting it out 83

In corruption, you don't do more damage, plus if you exit hypermode before your bar empties or you become corrupted, you get any energy left added back to your health.

I'm amazed that in this game you're at the 6th boss and your beam weapon has remained the same. Though, to a certain degree, the "hyper mode" beam is a secondary one I guess. Still, it's not a 'true' beam weapon.

I think it would be Thardus' environment (as it gets foggy, and things are thrown at you) and Quadraxis (when it's a head, because you need to disable the antennae)
