@kmargos according to some yes you can use 2 uca202 cards but im just using the one card for scratch practice...then i'll upgrade to something more reliable and a standard budget usb interface like the maya44.
@mattw298 virtual dj can use several diffrent brands of timecoded vinyl. The needle was bad and gave me a week signal. check my other video and that the problem is fixed.
at all - u should use the asio driver not the driver of uca 202/200 just install the asio for all then plug it at the same time then check the asio config at the vdj.. it should be on and check the in and out of both cards it should look like thisi in the asio config panel its tricky it took me days to realize this.
your signal should look like a circle Virtual DJ is only getting a mono signal(only the red or the white RCA are getting a signal. At least that looks like the problem. Virtual DJ did the same thing to me when I didn't have one of the RCA's connected to my CD player. Hope this helps!
@CMurdaMixes i notice in your vids you're using American Audio Versa Port. how are those working for you? im trying to keep it as low budget as i can cause i can't justify paying over $500 for soundcard when im just scratching as hobby. maybe when i improve my skills i'll upgrade soundcard. Thank you for replying.
@thesimpletonshow The Versaport hasn't given me any problems. I'd recommend it. You could also look for a Maya44usb they run about the same price as the Versaport and are just as good.
@CMurdaMixes got sound comin thru mixer, from mixer I connected master into line input of PCI Soundblaster, so now i can scratch. another problem...both decks in VDJ are coming into channel 1 of mixer for ex. i have 1st ch looping track and 2nd ch scratching when i slide crossfader over both decks are cut when i slide back they're both on. when i choose external mixerin config it says theres an asio error not enough channels. MAYBE CAUSE UCA202 IS A 1 CHANNEL CARD?
@CMurdaMixes gettin very close, got my needle today...everything is connected the way it should and now Im getting 100% signal and i have the 2 green circles yes now i can backspin cue and scratch but...now no sound thru VDJ. im getting sound when i play a youtube video but nothing coming out of VDJ. What the hell is that. LOL hellllp
wot u usin the asio4all for?? issit possible to uninstall it? id try uninstalling both soundcards and reinstalling only the card your using. let me kno how things turn out
