I just smelled my mascara and it doesn't have a smell at all. I asked the husband to sniff it, he said it doesn't smell. I hope it's not a bad batch or something. I'd open my second one, but I don't want to expose it to air :(

it's basically an all over intensive body lotion most useful for dry areas (face, elbows, knees, and toes). nivea has specific creams for the face too, but since the tin can is so small ppl have used it as a hand lotion or face lotion. great quality for the price! it's been compared to creme de la mer.
