Its cool that it can produce that much hho in a minute but when you have to apply such a large amount of voltage and amperage to get those results, it isnt really worth it.
flux why dont you use a 2nd battery and charge it from an alternator runing on the differencial, the load on the alt is progresive while the vehicle speeds up, why load the motor to run the cell ?
What if you had a generator attached to the rear wheels some how so as you press the brakes an electro magnetic locking system will lock the generator to the wheel.
This will power the cell and a bank of capacitors then the capacitors will power the cell as you drive. This would be a way to use wasted Kinetic Energy.
I am currently looking to build a new hho generator, one that would seperate the oxygen and hydrogen, using two tubes connected. I will also have to figure out how the store the oxygen so i can get pressure for the hydrogen, but then have a valve to release the oxygen once and a while. When using a minitorch I believe seperate gases is much safer. Any ideas will help.
Now thats what I'm talking about, My thinking is if I had hydrogen with lower oxygen content it can be stored a lot safer then HHO also it would be a lot better to add pure hydrogen to the fuel air mix
Wrong, and wrong: I count two wrongs. There's enough oxygen in the air around us to create mortal danger even if you aren't mixing the gases intentionally. Do you know how to engineer a container that doesn't leak hydrogen gas? The only safe way to handle it is very small amounts in well ventilated areas. You want to get blowed up?
You need to have separate collectors for the anode and cathode. Keeping your unit under pressure is a great way to get blowed up. You might want to anonymize your Interweb Q&A if you expect a life insurance policy to pay when you get blowed up.
1. I stated i would use two tubes connected (vertically), so each gas would rise into seperate tubes.
2. why would I create enough pressure in the cell to blow it up? I was only stating that i would have to hold back the oxygen to get the 4-5 psi needed to fuel a torch.
3.3. unless I was intentionally pumping hydrogen into the air to ignight the room, I would not get "blowed up". It would be safer than hho (which is the perfect ratio for the mixture to burn) in the tubes in case of a backflash. The hydrogen would not be able to ignite without mixing with oxygen.
I see what you are saying. Brain Fart, what if you had a cell battery charging system attached to the rear wheels so as you press the brakes an electro magnetic locking system will lock the generator to the wheel and charge the cell battery. This is a way to use wasted Kinetic Energy
Yes, I think this would be a cool way of powering a HHO cell that way your cell is making use of wasted Kinetic Energy and not putting any drag on the engine.
The goal of the HHO cell would be to overcome the energy it takes to produce the HHO (amperage draw on the cars electrical system), by producing enough HHO.
This is why I ask if anyone has figured out how much HHO (Litres per hour), you have to reach vs how many amps it takes to produce that HHO.
My Aquygen 1500 generator running at 100% makes 1500 lph of HHO using 40 amps. The cell in this video is way too large and needs holes in the plates to pump water through it and back into the fill tank.
OK, so 1000 amps at 12 volts is 12000 watts of power. That converts to a cost of 16 horse power or the amount of energy in .32 gallons of gasoline x .20% because of the lack of efficiency of the ICE.
If you get any decent MPG improvement that is great! A 20MPG improvement would be extremely good.
I am asking about amps vs HHO output as that is the major obstacle this cell has to overcome to make it a success. If you've ever tried to spin an alternator with any draw on the cars system you know how much energy it takes. The more load on the altrnator the more energy it takes form the engine which = more fuel consumption.
I have only built and bench tested cell, I'm installing it in my can now. I like to test things myself. I think of my car as a stand alone test stand. If I get an amount of mileage and I install a HHO cell and I get B amount of mileage + or -- that will be proof. I'm not out to make money I will put all my finding out in the open.
I don't understand how this will actually help get better gas mileage if it takes 30+ amps to get 2l/m HHO. 30 amps is a pretty big draw on the cars alt. which puts more load on the engine.
Am I missing something here? But by the sounds of it, the cost of producing HHO is as much if not more energy then the unit produces...?
dsmtsi Look at it this way. The way that it's done on most of these cells.. It may take 30 amps to generate the HHO but technically you get that back, laws of thermodynamics. Here is just one of the kickers though. Mix HHO that when combusted you get 100% energy conversion. Gasoline on the other hand in an ICE does not completely burn. This is why we have all the emissions on our cars. But mix the HHO and now you Not only get the energy back you also get more complete burn of your gasoline.
A study of the theoretical equilibrium product composition has indicated an optimum operating point at an air/fuel ratio of 5.15, where a hydrogen/fuel mass ratio of 0.136 can be obtained under soot-free conditions. This is based on a gasoline with an atomic hydrogen to carbon ratio of 1.92.
It seems most people are getting around 2-5Lph with a 30 or so amp draw. I am only wondering if that is enough? As it just seems a little low to obtain the effects you are looking for.
I am not trying to be negative, I just recently started watching these videos and find them very interesting. I am just trying to gauge how far off you are from making an efficient unit that people can use and get the desired results.
I think it depends on "the results that you are looking for". So if you are just looking for improve efficiency I think 2-5 lpm gives you that. A lot depends on the current efficiency of the engine in the first place.
If you are looking for no gasoline and strictly HHO it goes way up from there. 60-100lpm to get you started. Depending on the energy demand of the ICE.
Safety guy here, Write on your jugs what is in them. Someone could grab this jug not knowing what is in it and have a problem. Worked in a clean room at one time and someone grabbed an unmarked bottle to rince his hands, turned out to be 50% Hydrogen peroxide, took the skin off. Safety first.
i tried some really thin plates and the production was very low but think that it may have been the spacing so i will try cable ties to see if that give me better result, its +nnn-nnn+nnn- that sound like best?
Use caution with the cable ties, some tapper off. Believe it or not, I tried using pasta...yep, you read it right; Linguini to be exact and it worked great. The thickness is about .04-.05 and consistant.
Well with the pasta, at least dinner will be done by the time you pull in the driveway. LOL. How do you keep the noodle from getting soft? Don't tell me a little blue pill either.
I have a suggestion, which I think worth exploring: How about having small transformer in this cell to ramp up voltage say 24V to give more current and hence more HHO production?
How do you safely dispose of used electrolyte? I went to your web site and that was one of the questions in the facts sections. I understand that it should not go down the drain. What method do you use to dispose of your use electrolyte? Thanks
Simple, use the appropriate gauge wire to fix the problem.
Wires range from @ 4 to 26 AWG. The more electricity u need ur wire to carry, the lower gauge wire u need.
For example if ur using 200watts at 32amps & your wire length is 4' or less, then u probably need to use a 10 gauge wire. For an 8' wire w/ the same 200watts & 32amps u would use an 8 gauge wire (correct me it I'm off).
So if ur stuff is getting too hot, go to a bigger wire & it should fix the problem.
Thanks that sound about right, there sure be something wrong with cell, be cause they get to hot to sune, milting my wire, no metionig the relays, what type of rely will be god?
Hey ZeroFossil Fuel.. Great work.. I just ordered my stainless for a simular cell. Are you answering questions about this cell.. The gasket material or plate design aka + - + ect.. Awesome design. Thanks for any input.
Zero, great vid, I've been waiting to see this unit in production ever since lefty22 posted the video on production of the plates. Question -- wouldn't raising the bubbler/reservoir higher in relation to the cell increase convection flow of electrolyte and give you better production? I'd love to see a duration run and see what (if any) buildup there is in the cell. Looking forward to building my own.
Very interesting output there but nobody is metioning how much hho is needed to run say a 2 litre engine. 3,4,5 lires per min? any idea sombody out there?
So basically water disassociate into HHO increases 1860 times so you would need +- 37 ml of water converted into HHO giving you 68 liters of HHO to run Stan's buggy at 65 mph for one minute. There! I think that is roughly right.
Stan Meyer full data. "water as Fuel" 50 hp ICE 111 ml/min gasoline consumption rate (on road test) @ 65 mph. Hydrogen gas has almost 3 times the amount of BTU's of gasoline. So based on this figure you should be able to get the same energy from 37 ml water x 1800 = 68 liters hho. Now this also does not take into consideration the burn rate and 100% conversion of energy that you get from Hydrogen.
More: Remember that you can add an inert gas to the hydrogen to slow that down to the burn rate of octane, no timing issues. I think in doing that you are diluting the amount of hydrogen needed per cycle, therefore saving more Hydrogen. Another benefit is the engine now runs cooler adding even more savings. These figures are somewhat my own and may be wrong, check it out for yourself. One more thing the BTU figures are for straight Hydrogen not HHO which has a energy characteristic all its own.
So using Brute force electrolysis would take roughly 13,500 watts of power to run Stan's 50 horse buggy at 65 mph. Or 1124 amps at 12v. Someone correct me if I am wrong please.
Thank for the reply slider so the ammount of hho being produced so far isn't even nowhere near the ammount needed. looking at this situation we have to find a way to produce in a much more efficient way maybe finding resonance and tracking it like zero suggested earlyer in his vids.
I am now begining to suspect that you need quite a large ammount of hho to enhance your engine power in conjuntion with gasoline. say at least 5 litres a min. If one could compare the ammount of butane gas needed to run a car engine would it still be 60 liters or so a min? How long the gas tank will last? Am I missing somthing here? remember hho is 2.5 times more stronger than gasoline according to Stan Meyer. so maybe you need 1.5 times less gas for the same power no?
I think the answer lies in High Voltage, step charge to "Turn off the covalent bond". Brute force will not get you close. 1124 amps at 12 volts, not sure if Delco can help out there.
I have an idea of putting a small cylinder type wind generator attached to a generator mounted in the front grill. I know wind drag and all that but I'm talking a small amount of drag for a large amount of HHO boost for the engine.
Much more than that. I have heard 50 and I have heard 100+ from bob boyce who gets 70 LPM on his cell if I remember correctly. Huge ammount of HHO gas but still on the nipple.
Come on, put 90 amps to it! Do you have a probable retail price point yet? Do you have many people interested in being a reseller? I would like to know more about this.
just an electrolyte tip, if your using electrolyte with lye or KOH, and you just happen to get some on your skin, water will help, but please dont use soap, it will only make it worst. in fact, the best thing to use is and acid. Because the electrolyte is a base, using an acid to wash it off such as white vinegar will neutralize the effect.
Do you ever correspond with Dallasgoldbug?? I am working on three different configuration of cells now. (I am an auto repair facility)
I get the feeling that, at the end of the day, we might just see that gas liters per watt may be a constant regardless of cell design. I have one prototype that is stacked plates, one using a spiral 1/4" cable, and one using cups, with twice as many negs as pos. Will let you know how it goes. Concetrating on getting rid of heat right now.
You show this using Brute Force HHO production. Has there been any testing using a PWM? Or since the device remains fairly cool is the use of the PWM not needed?
ZERO, great work (as always), nice cell and output! I would like to point out an amusing observation, there is an "ads by google" bar displayed below the video during playback, it flashed messages like "Run You Car on Water SCAM", "Honda EV Plus" and "Hydrogen fuel cell". Im sure they are just reflecting key words chosen from your video, but ironic how they could be percieved as discrediting your actual work. Thanks google and or youtube!
you must get great output out of that, I like how you go +NNNNN-NNNNN+NNNNN- and so on. most dry cells are +NNNNNNNNNNNNNNN- and I would think the one you got makes more HHO because the current is evenly distributed.
What is MMW? I want to know what MMW is. please tell me.

Ok so has anyone figured out how much HHO production you need to be enough to produce the effect you are talking about?
What is the ratio of HHO to gas that is needed to get the result you are looking for?
I don't think 2lph is enough as a car uses a lot more then that of gas.
Has anyone taken the time to actually figure out what ratio of HHO to gas is needed and how many lph of HHO will be required?

FluxCapacitor2008 3 years ago
FluxCapacitor2008, a/f ratio of only 5.15:1? Is that a mix fule of a hydrogen & pump gas?
I know a regular gas vehicle requires a much higher a/f ratio of around 12.5:1. 5.15:1 is a little low/ lean no?
Also my initial question isn't answered, which is how many lph of HHO is needed to get this a/f ratio you are shooting for?
The only reason I ask for the lph is that seems to be the typical measuring system used to determine how much HHO their dvices use.

I have temprature problem with the cables
usisng Stright Dc, how you overcome that.
or you just room it, fro short periots of times
yindo1 3 years ago
Simple, use the appropriate gauge wire to fix the problem.
Wires range from @ 4 to 26 AWG. The more electricity u need ur wire to carry, the lower gauge wire u need.
For example if ur using 200watts at 32amps & your wire length is 4' or less, then u probably need to use a 10 gauge wire. For an 8' wire w/ the same 200watts & 32amps u would use an 8 gauge wire (correct me it I'm off).
So if ur stuff is getting too hot, go to a bigger wire & it should fix the problem.
I hope this helps.

Thanks that sound about right, there sure be something wrong with cell, be cause they get to hot to sune, milting my wire, no metionig the relays, what type of rely will be god?

when will you be selling the new units?

3,4,5 lires per min? any idea sombody out there?
supersilve 3 years ago
So basically water disassociate into HHO increases 1860 times so you would need +- 37 ml of water converted into HHO giving you 68 liters of HHO to run Stan's buggy at 65 mph for one minute. There! I think that is roughly right.
slider1860 3 years ago
Stan Meyer full data. "water as Fuel" 50 hp ICE 111 ml/min gasoline consumption rate (on road test) @ 65 mph. Hydrogen gas has almost 3 times the amount of BTU's of gasoline. So based on this figure you should be able to get the same energy from 37 ml water x 1800 = 68 liters hho. Now this also does not take into consideration the burn rate and 100% conversion of energy that you get from Hydrogen.
slider1860 3 years ago
More: Remember that you can add an inert gas to the hydrogen to slow that down to the burn rate of octane, no timing issues. I think in doing that you are diluting the amount of hydrogen needed per cycle, therefore saving more Hydrogen. Another benefit is the engine now runs cooler adding even more savings. These figures are somewhat my own and may be wrong, check it out for yourself. One more thing the BTU figures are for straight Hydrogen not HHO which has a energy characteristic all its own.
slider1860 3 years ago
So using Brute force electrolysis would take roughly 13,500 watts of power to run Stan's 50 horse buggy at 65 mph. Or 1124 amps at 12v. Someone correct me if I am wrong please.
slider1860 3 years ago
Thank for the reply slider so the ammount of hho being produced so far isn't even nowhere near the ammount needed. looking at this situation we have to find a way to produce in a much more efficient way maybe finding resonance and tracking it like zero suggested earlyer in his vids.
supersilve 3 years ago
I am now begining to suspect that you need quite a large ammount of hho to enhance your engine power in conjuntion with gasoline. say at least 5 litres a min. If one could compare the ammount of butane gas needed to run a car engine would it still be 60 liters or so a min? How long the gas tank will last? Am I missing somthing here? remember hho is 2.5 times more stronger than gasoline according to Stan Meyer. so maybe you need 1.5 times less gas for the same power no?
supersilve 3 years ago
I think the answer lies in High Voltage, step charge to "Turn off the covalent bond". Brute force will not get you close. 1124 amps at 12 volts, not sure if Delco can help out there.
slider1860 3 years ago
I have an idea of putting a small cylinder type wind generator attached to a generator mounted in the front grill. I know wind drag and all that but I'm talking a small amount of drag for a large amount of HHO boost for the engine.
FluxCapacitor2008 3 years ago
I think the best way to run a series cell is at high voltage DC, low amps I have bench tested my cell at 120 Volts 6 Amps and I got up to 4 LPM
FluxCapacitor2008 3 years ago
Much more than that. I have heard 50 and I have heard 100+ from bob boyce who gets 70 LPM on his cell if I remember correctly. Huge ammount of HHO gas but still on the nipple.
kratomosphere 3 years ago
Come on, put 90 amps to it! Do you have a probable retail price point yet? Do you have many people interested in being a reseller? I would like to know more about this.

If anyone is interested, here is a video of building a 101 plate version of this cell which as zero said will be sold in kit form:

just an electrolyte tip, if your using electrolyte with lye or KOH, and you just happen to get some on your skin, water will help, but please dont use soap, it will only make it worst. in fact, the best thing to use is and acid. Because the electrolyte is a base, using an acid to wash it off such as white vinegar will neutralize the effect.

That is a good tip. I keep diluted vinegar handy at all times.

4L60E 3 years ago
You show this using Brute Force HHO production. Has there been any testing using a PWM? Or since the device remains fairly cool is the use of the PWM not needed?
rmasci 3 years ago
From what I understand if you keep the voltage per gap under 2.4 volt - heat isn't a problem with brute force electrolysis.

Thanks google and or youtube!
syncromon 3 years ago
Yes, unfortunately. "Run You Car on Water SCAM" is a scam unto itself.
Certainly don't buy their crap but PLEASE DO click on that ad over and over. Let's bankrupt them! >:-)

Agreed, Keep us posted. I am ready to spring for 2-3 units once the design is proven.

Great work. Great looking design.
I look forward to the time when I am able to order one.
I assume that EBN Inc. will also be offering or recommending PWM's, EFIE's and MAP sensor add-ons.
Anyway, very good work. Keep it up. Take care.
lutherp40 3 years ago
you must get great output out of that, I like how you go +NNNNN-NNNNN+NNNNN- and so on. most dry cells are +NNNNNNNNNNNNNNN- and I would think the one you got makes more HHO because the current is evenly distributed.
What is MMW? I want to know what MMW is. please tell me.
Great Work!
This gives me several ideas!

Z, why did you accelerate the video when you timed the production? I trust the production numbers that you gave but it may "mis-lead" a new comer.
terrydeannelson 3 years ago
Because waiting that long on video is boring. I really don't care what other people think. I am a straight shooter.
