This is actually true about Passenger Pigeons. They fuckin killed them all and got paid to do it because of the varmint campaigns that were in existence in the eastern states until the 1940. Anything that was considered a predatory creature could be killed for reward. Hawks, Owls, Kingfishers, Eagles and any large mammal. West Virginia gave a yearly scholarship to the person who killed the most. Pennsylvania one year paid $90,000 for 130,000 owls and hawks to save a livestock worth under $2,000
I had no idea she was an actual person, afflicted with a rare condition, nonetheless. I thought the pic was shooped. I must say that she looks better in the black and white pic. She is as kindly as I thought her to be with a pleasant voice, though. However, I think that her friend Roman or whatever his name is will beat me to her...
But in all seriousness, I hope she continues to enjoy her life in spite of her condition and that she eventually finds a diagnosis.
I'm actually rather attracted to the woman in this pic. Maybe it's just that the pic's accompanied with this great song, but I'm developing a thing for gawky, horse-faced frumpy librarian types....
R.I.P the beautiful Passenger Pigeon. Nothing justified your death. We miss you.
A piece of us all goes with you.
Stand up against forth coming extinctions - we must take a stand...

Plus, she does have very nice hair and an elegant swan-like neck.
She just seems like a kindly, down-to-earth person.

@goodie2shoes I get it - listen to the words - she looks like he feels. Mao killed the pigeons; countless dictators have killed this lass...
