  • Unigov, You should make a new one of these for 2012. I am sure there is plenty to bitch about with the Super Bowl.

  • Allow me to educate you a little about those three "wealthy white guys". THEY ARE JEWS, NOT WHITE. To be considered a caucasian, your genetic roots must come from europe. These men are SEMENTIC, meaning their roots come out of the middle east. Wealth is a great thing, sure beats poverty ANYDAY. People used to strive to become wealthy, now they demonize it, because they are lazy losers like yourself. Easier to be a bum and ask for a handout than to work hard and create a legacy.

  • @papawx3 Becoming wealthy is fine. It is the goal of business. But the government should not get to pick the winners of business. This is not capitalism, it's government cronyism at it's finest.

  • @HavenVile The crooks you mentioned, could'nt have gotten away with what they did had there been an INVOLVED PUBLIC. Anybody with any brains left Marion County long ago {like me!} I witnessed the mass exodus out to the surronding counties, it began back in the 1980s. Place the race card all you want, it is a LOSER'S HAND. Truth is, Unigov was the begining of the end. It destroyed the autonomy of the neighborhoods. What you have to come to terms with is this, I'll not sugar coat it:

  • @HavenVile Regardless of what you have been taught or told, there are only two types of people- the "Fuckers" and the "Fucked". The more money you have, the more fucking you do. The less money you have, the more fucked you are. Simple as that. More and more Marion County residents are falling into the latter catagory. GET OUT. It is a dying city.

  • @papawx3 It's sad to say, but I can't disagree

  • Loved your video and the facts stated within. Really nice job!

  • @beancountersn1 - thank you ! (i am way behind on email).

  • I like the video that you put with all the corporate sellouts that are hurting Indiana and I will someday put an end to Unigov once and for all.

  • Close more schools and libraries. Don't give the teachers raises, not the police or fire department.

I live in Indy and agree. I have watched our public infrastructure suffer while we allow the Pacers and Colts to threaten the city with moving if they don't get what they want.

My idea, fuck them, put the money into the school system and make it the best in the country. That will draw in business and people which will bring REAL profits from taxes.

  • nice voice work - don't quit your day job

  • The "us vs. them" mentality of the modern yuppie, decrying government, yet obbsessed with controlling it, wants us all to think that things have always been that way. And while dirty tactics (perversions now really) have always been around, the level of desperate viciousness over absurd ostentation are realy more a product of post '70s Corporate America. It's not the same city, or America it was before the Interstates- I was born there in '54 and it's not the same spirit, or place.

  • Beyond the PARTICULAR obnoxious fanatical spending over the city's image (Other cities have stopped worrying about that, to deal with REALITY)-

this is unfortunately sort of a larger trend in a lot of places

Our"movers and shakers" would rather welcome their own "professional" tier into the city from other places while those who've lived along 10th street, or places like that all their lives can rot away.

It's unrepresentative government. How soon will the Colts be threatening to leave?

  • 1:10 These businessmen look like your typical fat 'n' happy carpetbaggers from The SOUTH.

  • HAHA! Lived here all my life(37 years) and have seen the downfall of the city. Getting the government to fund my college degree so I can live somewhere else.

  • The obvious racism from the creator from this video is quite lame. Otherwise he makes some decent points.

  • You realize I'm white ?

  • @Unigov Although I agree with most of your video, your assumption that white people live outside Indy to get away from black people is complete utter nonsense. I am white, and I happen to like living in a neighborhood where I don't have to worry about getting murdered if I go out for a walk after dark. I also enjoy going to bed at night without having to wonder if my car will be where I left it or if my windows will still be intact when I get up. Being white doesn't make you right.

  • @Brett636 I didn't see any racism, but I did see historical accuracy when it came to where people choose to live. It takes place in all cities. Take an Urban geography course accompanied by urban sociology and you will be surprised at the things people do.

  • @TheRationalBeing When it comes to politicized topics like racism I try not to get my talking points from libtard professors. As pointed out earlier some people enjoy living in places where they feel safe and secure, and if you have been to Indy you know neighborhoods like Haughville are hardly considered safe places to live regardless of the color of your skin.

  • @Brett636 Sounds to me like you are trying to convince the wrong people of your move to the burbs. It doesn't matter what Prof teaches a course, facts are facts. If you don't like the historical truth that whites moved out to get away from blacks, you live in denial. Look up redlining. Urban areas were built from what is commonly known as "white flight". You don't need a professor to learn this. Nice ad hominem by the way. It shows a lot about you. Not much between the ears. LOL

  • @TheRationalBeing It sounds as if you fancy yourself to be some sort of intellectual elite when your nothing of the sort. The whole idea of "white flight" is complete bull made up by raving moon bats with racial chips on their shoulders. I imagine anyone living in Haughville would love to trade places with someone in Carmel, Noblesville, plainfield, or greenwood. As stated earlier any sane person will choose to live where they feel themselves and their families are the most safe.

  • @Brett636 Once again you attack me with some delusional shit. It doesn't take an intellectual to understand how things have evolved over the last 30 years. You don't need to explain the neighborhood situation to me, I've lived in places and had shit done to me that you would only find in your nightmares. I don't disagree with your comment about living where you feel safe, but it doesn't mean that the area in which you live was not built out of white flight. Like I said, you live in denial.

  • @TheRationalBeing My neighborhood was built in the late 70s, and based on the structure of the neighborhood my guess is it was built due to a market desire for more homes in the area than was available at the time. Simple economics makes a lot more sense than some loony racial motivation.

  • @Brett636 I will give you that economics probably can explain a neighborhood in a rural community built in the 70's. I will also concede that not all people, especially nowadays, moved out to get away from the minorities. Understand though, that the major population booms into these areas came at the onset of busing and desegregation of the school systems in the US. High poverty rates amongst minorities made it impossible for them to move because the resources they needed weren't included.

  • @Brett636 I'm sorry to say that the "white flight" from urban indpls was very real, and the prejudice who could afford to move away - did. Things were much different in the 50's, 60's and 70's. How do you think the Town of 'Whiteland' (Johnson County) got its name? Later, due to a major disagreement, the town split, and the town of "New Whiteland" was born, using basically the same name, locating the new town on the west side of US 31 while "Whiteland" occupied the east side of the highway.

  • @Brett636 The KKK was very thick in Indiana as little as twenty years ago, and they certainly worked their cause. In addition to the Indpls suburbia areas in Johnson Co., when Prince's Lakes incorporated in the 50's, they wrote into their incorporation papers that "people of color" were NOT allowed inside town borders unless they were employed as domestic help. They were also not allowed in town after sunset unless their boss man needed them to work a party. Sad, but true, and public record.

  • We tore up our train tracks, tore down Market square, tore down the Hoosier Dome, ruined the INB tower 3 times, tore down the Essex house, tore down the JC penny building on the Circle, ruined the IMA, ruined the Zipper (Merchants) building, so you better love medical buildings and stupid conventions and poorly decorated hotels or I would not bother with Indianapolis. She is all but ruined.

  • You ditched me. :P

  • I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse. You build us a stadium, we don't have the Colts players break yer kneecaps.

  • I wonder what shape we'd be in if public hangings were still the norm?

  • Excellent video, well done!

  • There's a REVOLT coming to the Indiana State House on March 25th.....google REVOLT AT THE STATE HOUSE

  • BRILLIANT expose' on corporate welfare that hits the nail squarely on the head. History repeats itself: "bread and circuses" is happening now.

  • Jimmy Irsay's view of things:

"The Wilfs can't put $600 million into a stadium. That's never going to happen," Irsay said. "You'd never make it back in five lifetimes."

So what chance do we taxpayers have of making it back before the thing gets replaced in 25 years?

  • Liars, idiots or crooks...

    Pick two.

  • This video, launched just this morning, already has 85 hits. Bloggers and Facebook pages started to pick it up already too I noticed.

  • Heard a woman say recently that she trusts the mafia more than our city and state government. At least the mafia has an ethic.
