I remember this!! I'm the one on the far left at 0:31. On my left is Dave... He kept making jokes in the middle of the ritual and Shaft made us do it over so many times. I think we killed 6 or 7 virgins because he kept cracking me up.

Ok, I have a question. My castlevania game has this same opening scene, but it has some German dialogue as well, with English subs. How come?

That's great, but the downside is that only the opening scene is in German, the rest of the game is in English. I wish it was completely in German.

I love castlevania, i have a wii (judment) , DS (dawn of sorrow, portrait of ruin, order of ecclesia) , the gba emulators (aria of sorrow, harmosnny ofdissonance, circle of the moon) all the nes roms, but i need the snes ones, bloodlines, symphony of the night and rondo of blood (not vampire kiss) i dont know were to find them in rom or what emulator is,

and i tried to donwload an emulator or roms of ps2 for curse of darkness but i cant ARGHHHH

that Aria of Sorrow is the better after Symphony according to the critics? I can't believe it, Aria of Sorrow sucks, the history and character are awful, the graphics and the music aren't the best neither, Rondo of Blood is much better. The history is more interesting, is not out of place like AoS(what is a rumanian medieval castle doing in an eclipse, in Japan, in the future?) besides Richter is more charismatic and he doesn't look like a woman like that Soma Cruz ¬¬

Nope, it's definitely not the best after SotN, but that's no reason for bashing it, cause it's still easily the third best. For me the only faults of AoS are that is too short and too easy, and the music could have been better too. But the rest is almost perfect.

So for me the Top 5 is the following:

1. Symphony of the Night

2. Rondo of Blood

3. Aria of Sorrow

4. Super Castlevania IV

5. Potrait of Ruin (damn, it could've been a hella lot better if they had done a better use of the mechanic)
