i accidentally deleted absinthe from my 4s before rebooting with cydia!

and now evry time i tried to jailbreak , it said on the computer: "Looks like u attempted to apply this jailbreak and it failed....we will try to fix it" and after 1 sec "Recovery completed. if u want to jailbreak, unplug your device and plug it back in."

and when i unplugged it and plugged back in , it said the same thing (Recovery completed. if u want to jailbreak, unplug your device and plug it back in)

what should i do?

i got it to work.. you have to restore your iPhone first.. don't restore to back..set up a new iPhone

Hey after I click the absinthe app it says did not work click jailbreak to open settings and turn on the VPN named jail break. After that it says absinthe could not be opened . The error was: the url can't be shown. Then if I go to the VPN in the setting it shows that it's connecting and it shows the error message but it don't restart or any thing. Whats going on ?

Ok I have finally jailbreak my phone everything on this video is right its just one thing you have to right click Absinthe app on window and run it as administrator than do everything he said on the video I have a Sprint iphone 4s and I know many of you are have problem with those phones but this will help good luck

I have an iPad 2 16GB WiFi only! when i tap the ANSINTHE app utt opens and it says ANSINTHE is now setting things up, please satnd-by... I have a IPhone 4S and the problem i am facing is 2/3 of the way though the process and a problem occured message comes up, i go back to the home screen and the Cydia icon failed to appear, then i go to settings/network/VPN and the VPN Jailbreak is there but refuses to load when i try to switch it on?. Is this a Iphone issue or my Win XP config problem or both?.

Any advice on how to remedy this i would be awesome.

@Eyevan73 LOL i get to Reply/answer my own problem, What i was doing wrong was exe absinthe from the zip program which was only loading 2/3 of the whole thing. I feel like a Nob end now, you just need to drag all files from zip folder to the desktop and active absinthe from there. and its sweet as mama's apple pie,grins

Hi you might want to add to this make sure you delete ALL VPN PROFILES first before jail breaking because it will break the process at the end.

I do everything right but when i click on Absinthe the icon, it says "Absinthe is setting up, please stand by" and it does nothing. Restored, tried it many times, and it still doesnt work. sooo frustrating. I also tried turning on VPN, but when i click ok, nothing happens. I have reinstalled the jailbreak like 10 times and it still doesnt work :( Please, any help?

@agressiveskater33 Make sure you delete all VPN profiles first then do the jailbreak and make sue you don't have a passcode set

I had to use lion to jailbreak my phone on my macbook air as I could never get absinthe to work with snow leopard 10.6.8 on my IMAC.I also backed up my iphone first then completely erased everything on my 4s and then restored before I ran absinthe which I had to run 3 times before I got the error message did the vpn on thing and it finally worked running like a charm.
