  • thank you

  • This was the original purpose of VH1. They showed music videos from Sinatra, Dean Martin, Neil Diamond, Andy Williams, John Denver and the like.

  • dino the king of cool.love and miss you dude

  • the best video ever.. dino love and miss you every passing year.. so glad you left behind these great memeories are made of this. !

  • I wish that Dean Martin had made more videos like this one.

The world lost a great entertainer when he left this world on Christmas Day 1995.

  • Dean could sing 3 Blind Mice and it would be an instant classic. It did not make a difference what he sung, his voice, his style, was nothing but the best. This video is just an easy listening, layback presentation of a great song.

  • Could it be that Robert Palmer's "Addicted To Love" video was influenced by the beautiful women in this video?

  • @notredamehesamighty yeah and even the rhythm has some similar beat to it

  • if you can sing like mr cool , you have the world in your hands !!!

  • Graet Video and the i love this Song, nice

  • 10/10

  • Fajny film i świetna piosenka

    nice one:)

    kciuk w górę

  • 6 people are not happy men

  • Piękna,stara piosenka,którą śpiewał również Y.Hunter.

    Dziękuje i Pozdrawkam

  • It's good. But it would have been better to just have Dean doing what he did best - Relaxing on the piano, walking around a little in his cool style during the song and add in some nice looking classy girls around him. Parts of this music video worked VERY well, and some parts didn't fit Dean's classy style. I did enjoy seeing Dean Martin again when the music video came out. I said WOW! Dean looked great in his tux "as always" and he sang the song perfectly! :)

  • Dean and Frank were sent down by God, to let us know that he actually cares about us.

  • Boomshaka, they always said that Frank Sinatra was the classiest guy in a tuxedo but I disagree. When Dino walked ob stage, he was the classiest guy in a tux.

  • Doesn't get any better than DeanO! Love his voice! Miss him!!!

  • @FalknerRoadKings66 you got that right.

  • @FalknerRoadKings66 ya, i miss him alot too. was soooo handsome.

  • its the greatest, and sure do miss him.

  • Well since music videos were kind of a new cool more edgy thing to do and considering the time, it's classy and not the greatest but it's grown on me alot.

  • Funny. :) But my question is; is he copying Robert Palmer with the girls in black, or did Palmer copy Dean???

  • @hall442

    Palmer copied this.

  • @hall442

Palmer copied this. This was done before the Palmer videos

  • Dino Martino! The Best...........

  • I love dino due to my nona she listened to him all the time when she cooked..

  • i think in every video ive seen him in hes always wearing a tuxedo lol

  • i love dean martin thanks to my 50 year old dad and im only 19

  • I've experimented by speeding up the timing a bit while keeping the voice and instruments sounding the same. I think it sounds better faster. I guess the video is what it is...and it COULD have been more.

  • since I discovered Dino I'm a happy person! <3 :D

  • since I disovered Dino I'm a happy person! <3 :D

  • well, watched it again. love dino,

  • I love this video of Dino as it show his sense of humour, and great voice at the same time !

  • Dean is the the greates singer Mr COOL Thomas Haverstock

  • I saw this on MTV in 1979!! Dean rocks!

  • Fantastic. Love the video. Dino we sure miss you. Thanks for posting.

  • happy birthday dean

  • geweldig gezongen door dean martin

    fa1946

  • Rest In Peace Deano. Great Video.

  • Dino 4ever. I want his "Memories Are Made Of This" to be my funeral song when the day comes for me to meet him in Heaven. <3

  • no matter what dino did, it was the best. he was the best. watched him since i was a child. no one will ever take his place.

  • I think the video was chinssy..

  • EPIC!!! ... I love you dean.

  • GREAT SAX PLAYER

  • I can see where Robert Palmer got the idea for his video with the ladies in sunglasses.

  • Nice to see Dean do a video. Too bad The Nashville Sessions LP was never put on cd. My First Country Song he did with Conway Twitty from the album was great too, but no video.

  • This was the only music video Dean ever did. It was directed by his son. It was done in 2 days. Originally supposed to be 1. Shot at Jeanne Martin [his ex wifes] house. The parts on the rocks were supposed to be the first day but nothing was working out so they moved it to the house. the girls in it are called "Dean-agers" The chair/pool scenes are at the house. And in the end when you see Dean walking to the house he acutally just walks out the front door gets into the car and leaves. :]

  • @TheMandaPandaBear how do you know all that???

  • @RustySacks : It was in Ricci Martins' "That's Amore" written about his father and just about everything he remembered about ol' Deany baby.

  • @MultiBBproductions that's pretty cool

  • Dean Martin was a real and super handsome man

    fantastic song................thanks

    It's very,very romantic.....:)

    Greetings from Polish :)

  • Dean Martin was a real and super handsome man

    fantastic song................thanks

    It's very,very romantic.....:)

  • IT's a nice viedo for a beautiful song!:)

  • lovely saxophone performance! <3 Dean Martin.. Thanks for sharing

  • I like the shots of the ladies in high heels, very nice.

  • It should be a law that all women in America should be required to wear high heels at all times. They look very nice on the ladies in this video.

  • Fantastic job! I can't believe how this video makes Dino seem so macho and yet sensitive! It's simply amazing how likeable this spoof-- being 'young at heart' draws a smile! The lyrics are terrific! ...Since I met you baby, all I need is you! Romantic love ensures that 'you're not the same!' ever after! Once you've met that right one--You're a happy man! AND you don't need to tell your troubles to anyone else! All you want to do is to try to please her 'in every way you can'! Age is no barrier!

  • WHAT A WONDERFUL SINGER HE WAS THE KIDS NOW DAYS DOESNT KNOW WHAT GOOD MUSIC IS ,SO SAD

  • this was directed by dean son Ricci and was filmed at his ex-wifes house

  • Great song from the master of cool no one can sing like Dean

  • Einfach nur ein geiler Song!!! I love this song so much! King of COOL!!!!

  • Anybody who doesn't like this video must fancy themselves a video making genius or something.

You gotta know what you're watching. This is before much went into making music videos. It's a great version of an old classic with Dean being as cool as ever and we can see where Robert Palmer got his "Addicted To Love" girls from. Playing the sax!

The shots of him swinging the club are hilariously strange and the golfball to the woman's mouth is even more strange.

    Nothing not to like here.

  • Dean Martin may be dead but in my mind he's still "the King of Cool."

  • this is really nice, is this his original, because Freddy fender also did this, who is the first to sing this?

  • @perfect1976j Ivory Joe Hunter wrote and recorded it originally. It became popular when Sonny James covered it.

  • could anybody tell me what year this was

  • @wombat69r : This was released in '83 I believe wobat69r. I remember the tune, and being of Italian descent, I loved it. '83 or early '84

  • wsuygsduighweusdthweysdtwequsyteuyyydtqwwushshgqywstwqysgqwsyqwethgqwysgshqwstwqsytqwsqtywtgq2ywgsytyt78w6tsytgsy7w6671627887wysuquwsq871276w7styuwuiw87tsy78w76tsts76qwuytsusd87dyaus9

  • dean martin was one of the great pioneers for love.He was a classic for me as a Sicilian black child with only Sicilian Italian family he can be a great inspiration and this kinda music is good for the world, love can only be a witness but the heart is the key. never ever forget no matter who u may June be with all those bugs were still here and young ;;;;;;he lives in me we must believe in more than we see because it all can turn to nothing

  • @angelofdeathforreal well...Dean Martin "black", really "black"... you can't be possibly be serious!

And don't tell me it's black because it's not a blond guy...

  • Kortick50-that explains it lol

  • I love the song but whoevers idea this was should be ashamed! Lol he's dean martin for cryin out loud!

  • I love Dean with all my heart but this was absolutely painful to watch!

  • Dean always will be the King of Cool!

  • @ArtR0001 amen no rapper will or ever be as cool as dino..

  • Ohh

  • Dean was definitely the coolest member of the Rat Pack (they called themselves "The Summit" actually). He had a better voice than Sinatra and just always looked like he was having fun. He had a great sense of humor, too. In his twenties he'd had a dozen fights as an amateur boxer. Describing his record he said, "I won all but eleven of them." When he split with Jerry Lewis people predicted his career was over. He went on to be a huge star in film, television, live concerts and recordings.

  • @JackKangaroo1 Forever COOL

  • Only Dean can take a preposterous and lame concept and make it cool.

  • The king of cool,my idol

  • i just love this video seen it a 100x... dean is just fantastic !!!

does anyone know is this is real home?

wish i could be in that pool with him....

  • @dinovilles - Seems I heard an interview with his son Ricci and he said that some of the video was done at Jeanne's home. And of course this was done several years after Dean and Jeanne had divorced.

  • @dinovilles real name Dino Paul Crocetti born Stuebenville Ohio. One of my favorite singers.

  • I remember when this video came out. 1986 I think, and Dean was making fun of the current types of videos being made and shown on MTV at the time. It was a spoof, him having a laugh at the 'new generation' of music. It is filled with all the cliches of the videos at that time. shows his sense of humor as well as his talent.

  • The girls look like the ones from the Robert Palmer video.

  • @cutevwbug I was going to say the same thing but you beat me to it. :)

  • CHRISTMAS DAY 1995; WE SUFFERED A GREAT TRAGEDY. DINO CROCETTI DIED. WHAT A SAD, SAD DAY. HE IS TERRIBLY MISSED. I BECAME A FAN AT THE AGE OF 10. EASY, I GET A LITTLE TICKLISH WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI:)!

  • so cool ! Dino was so cool ! Italyans make beter!

  • cool staf!!

  • hes feet in our era !

  • Great Dean Martin!

  • OMG! I remember this! I was a LITTLE girl! LOL

  • The video was very popular on MTV back when it came out. I still remember it.

  • frank sinatra my ass Dean was way much better R.I.P Dean

  • only a italian can pull this off , take a great song and sing it in country, what a true treasure Dean Martin is,

  • only a italian can pull this off, what a nice country version of the song.. a true treasure. gone but not forgotten.. thanks for the posting.

  • don't blame dean his song ricci made it! it says so on wikipedia poor dean first music video and it turns out like this!

  • Great song!

  • Terrific video! Dino has class and character with that pizzazz of humor that has made him the King of Cool! Think of it: a man of his maturity with a bevy of knock-out girls! with a wave of the hand they all fall for him (into the pool). Smile! it's the perfect spoof! Dino must have had a blast making this classic!--Dr. Al Mitchell

  • Some of the effects you see in the video were created to mask camera exposure problems and other issues. It took about a month to make this video. Man, I had a great time making this video. Thanks Dino!

  • My name is Jayme Wing and I am the editor who created this video. I did all the offline and on line editing and all the matte effects and design. It contains my trademark red dot. This video was done in the mid 1980's. All of the effects you see in this video were done using an analog video switcher while playing back multiple 1" video tape machines. We did not have any software based effects. This video was shot on video tape instead of 16 or 35mm film.

  • Surreal video...this was very cool....

  • Class? I'm pretty sure he was a womanizing alcoholic... am I wrong?

  • Wherever you are Dino, thanks a million for the music, and your always great and unique interpretations. You always bring a smile to my face when I hear one of your songs. No one was ever, nor will they ever be, any smoother than you. You are the King of Cool.

  • Well done Dean.

  • This video is really funny. I wish Dean made more music videos. He was more of a live performer than a music video artist. Haha.

    I love you, Dino!

  • tried to get this on i tunes and amazon but not available!!! want this on my i pod so much

  • Dean martin est excellent

  • Dino oozed style, I just wish that they had made a better looking video to showcase this song. Four generations of my family have enjoyed Dean's music. check out my version of this song on my channel. It is based a bit more on Sonny James' version.

  • @terrisonb You've got to consider that this video was made at least 35 years ago, long before anyone had ever heard of MTV. It was really pretty innovative for that time and I enjoyed watching it. And you're right, Dean Martin had a style all his own. He was a unique talent and a great guy.

  • Think It Was Before Frank's L.A is My lady

  • COOLEST EVER!!!

  • They used to do that at the Sands in Vegas. Dean would take over as dealer and he made sure everyone was a winner. The players loved it and the Hotel realized it was good public relations.

  • "12/1/1983 gambling at Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, Martin and Sinatra intimidated dealers and several employees into breaking New Jersey laws Sinatra and Martin were implicated as the cause of the violation The Golden Nugget, on the other hand, received a $25,000 fine a supervisor and pit boss were suspended It's said that Sinatra and Martin picked up the tab for the suspended employees' pay

"Since I Met You Baby"made his first music video, MTV. The video was created son, Ricci. "

  • He was still the King Of Cool at 65. He looked pretty athletic swinging the golf club.

  • oh wow...when did this come out?...looks like the 80s!

  • from the album the nashville sessions,,, early 8os 82 I think neat stuff

  • summer of 83 actually

  • thanks a lot.

  • Dean will always be the cool, and he is no fool..I like to sing this song and make up words as I go...

  • He made another one as well, But I could not remember the name.

He had a bunch of women playing guitars and pretend getting shot and fall over. It took place in the desert

  • Hey that was new to me!!

The sound is very much in the style of Fats Domino...cool!!!

    I love Dino!!

  • just great !!!

    THANX !!!

  • The girls remind me of Robert Plamer videos. At least before he died he got a video.

  • Dino defines COOL

  • ahhhhhhh, Dean, Dean, Dean !!!!!!!!. You were (are) the greatest singer yet. Rest in Peace.

    Thanks for this post,

    ken

  • Everytime I see new stuff on Dino it makes me happy. His daughter is great too.

  • Dean Martin's son made this video. He talked Dean into doing it. It's kind of cool because it's made at a time where 80's music was taking over the world and they found a way to make Dean's voice work with something updated as well as with an appealing video, such as this. We all love Dean's natural charm and talent and most of us are aware of what he truly accomplished, but this one was one for the team..in this case, one for the family.

  • The REAL king of cool !! You listen and you're happy !! 5*****

  • i love dean, he is the man. but this video was like watching a train wreck. im saying dont do it dean! dont do it! this is weird, do something cool! haha, love ya dino, not a bad song, but this vid is god awful

  • ok so deans cool jus bc hes dean..hes in his tux and crooning but then the videos all 80s like and that dont mix plus wats with the end where dean hits the golf ball and it goes in the ladies mouth? weird good song funky video im confused

  • This is so weird but very cool

  • Hi, very cool, like the weather here. But please explain why you think this song is weird. Happy new year from Scotland.

  • its very surreal thats all.

  • what year was this video made ?

  • CLASSIC! The people who do not like this are probably too young to really appreciate the real Dean Martin. They are a bunch of Johnny Come Latelys who just know Dino as being part of the RAT PACK. This was obviously a parody of what MTV was putting out at the time. If I remember correctly Dino (Dean Paul, Deans son) produced and directed this. Dean had a great sense of humor. Those of you who do not like this video but like Dean.....buy the DVDs of his variety show and you might understand.

  • Deans's voice blends really well with those saxophones. Everyone should be as relaxed as Dean Martin.

  • Really like this. Dean was sooooo smooth. It's impossible to listen to Dean sing and not start to feel happy.

  • I love Dino...but I am not sure I like this. Dean Martin meets MTV the early years--- it sort of seems sacrilegious doesn't it? Thank you for posting it--I believe Ricci Martin created this video so it is something to cherish. The song is beautiful of course, the video...well its MTV the early years...not classy or sophisticated enough to capture Dino's style.

  • This is my wedding song... Fell in love with it the moment i heard it... :D

  • Beautiful song! Got the spirit of the 50's all over it with the beat, saxophones, etc.

  • Dean and Frank are both grate talents. But I always thought Frank was in love with himself and Dean was in love with his audience.

  • Yes, I always felt thatFrank thought that public/audiences/fans, etc., owed HIM for singing for them....that he made HIMSELF the 'star' he became, and didn't owe his audiences and fans a THING - where as Dean always recognised the fact that his audiences, and the public at large, were instrumental in the success of his career -and performed for them with a llot of warmth when on stage (and even joked and kidded around with the studio audience on his show!!)

  • Agrred on that!

Frenkie boy was good but Dino was the best!

  • @cherrys83 I always thought that Dean didn't give a whit about show business, and that it was just to him a way to make his living...?

  • A song you could listen too all day long, and just smile. He was one of a kind...

  • The video is perfect. The song is perfect. And Dean Martin at his best!!! It always makes me smile when I watch it. Thanks for posting!!!!

  • I couldn't agree more...

  • Well if you think the video is lame, I am sorry it doesn't have chicks butt naked in it and grinding on him. Dean Martin comes from a time where people had class and respected each other more.

And WOW MTV! I wouldn't have guessed considering it has become reality TV these days with all of the dramas...Should be the soap channel.

  • hey relax im am a huge fan od dean martin i just thoguht he could have used some of that class and made a classe video like take the girls out and put home videos of him and jeanie or jsut something a lil diffrent buddy relax..

  • @iwantwhatiget Actually I agree with DinoLewis1945. Dean had such class and sophistication, but you can tell this video was an attempt to keep up with the times during the 80's while still preserving his classic charm. He was able to do it outside of this video, but the images clash and feel awkward in this clip. You have to admit it's a little weird looking. Regardless, Dean remains my favorite entertainer and overall personality in history, and I look forward to seeing him again in Heaven!

  • @iwantwhatiget I so agree with your comment. Dean was an original. Pay no attention to people that don't have a clue.

  • @iwantwhatiget Anything that Dean ever did was great. This video is great..it's Dean.

  • Dean is PURE CLASS. He was an entertainment God and one of the last greats of a generation never to be matched again. At the end of my life, if someone asks me what was great about my life I will say," In part, to have lived in the times of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and artists who had mastered the art of grace and sublle humor.

This video.is a testimony to Deans cross generation appea. It is brilliant on many levelsl

  • @WTCVET Never forget Bob Hope! Don Rickles is great, too :)

  • thanks for posting that video i have been wanting to see it for years. It was the last music video he ever did, he went on tour with frank and sammy but dropped out before he came to my city, i so want to see them together. i never new the title of this song i just remember the scene with him and the girls together. that was fun to watch. thanks again for posting it

  • Das ist absolut genial, habe den Song und das Video schon so lange nicht mehr gehört und gesehen. Danke dafür.

  • Thank you DinoLewis1945! I had told people about this video for years and no one else had seen it, I was beginning to think that I had dreamt it. I remember watching this on HBO's Video Jukebox and whoever directed Robert Palmers videos was obviously watching too. Love the golf ball in the girls mouth-hilarious. This album needs to be released on CD now!

  • Yes believe or not you are watching MTV

  • So smoooth , nobody else gets even close and it's looks so easy. Just beautiful.

  • great song love it so much..

  • Read about the making of this video from his son RIcci who directed the video and wrote about in his book. The home with the swimming pool acutally belong to his ex-wife Jeanne.

  • Yes. Thank you for posting. Safe to say I have just about all the records DVDs and CD's (and books and posters, etc.) but it's good to SEE him again, while he sings my favourites! Thanks again.

  • Dean just knew who he was,and didnt care who we thought he was,HE WAS THE MAN

  • Whomever posted this...God Bless....been searching this one out for 20+ years!! I remember the video. GO DINO!!

  • Unique video. I think this was the only video Dean ever made.

  • frank my ass, Dean was ten times smooooother

  • Well, I must admit, that, I thought Frank couldn't hold a candle to Dean.....and I always felt he was greatly overrated, with none of the warmth and sincerity in his delivery of a song, that Dean had!!! (And, in his later years, for many reasons, he tended to annoy me....for some reason that I can't quite put my finger on...!!)

  • i can put my finger ON IT! Dean was the Bomb!!!!

  • @3goatees Dean, Frank, Sammy...who cares. They were all fine (both meanings) men.

  • Awesome Voice. Dean Martin Was Great from Begining to End!

  • GREAT SONG BY DINO!!!!

    I LOVE IT!!!

  • great stuff!

  • Dean rocks

  • THE BEST!!!!!RIP DEAN!Thanks for posting.
