I dig this song, it carried me while I lay in bed depressed as shit from my divorce. Around that time, this just getting off the ground small time band from Austin, Tx rolled into town and in my job at that time as a radio personality, I was asked to introduce this band named Blue October, they hooked me up with a CD and I listened to it daily-religiously. I made it thru my then shitty post marriage phase. Thank You Justin and guys, you guys are a once in a lifetime talent, non-duplicated
You know, if everyone were to just try to find their own "happy," our world would be a lot better. Then maybe those who feed off other people might actually learn how to not screw up someone's life to make themselves better.
Most bands I've seen in concert have truly sucked, including the one I was in...But these guys bring something totally clean to the stage. I can't wait until they come to Arizona so I can share my emotions with them as they have with me..

Commendable resolve to let her walk all over you, and still be the understanding guy for her. I'm incapapble of something like that. For future reference, if someone cheats on you, they most certainly do not love you. And for a cheater to expect your sympathy because they're in a bad place is unbelievably selfish. Cheaters deserve nothing from you. Looks like you typed "fuck anyone in OUR way" after being cheated on twice? Raise your standards, man.
@deadlydustbinmkII something similar happened to me about 3 months ago. the man i loved and was with for over a year, told me he will never love me the way i love him. it broke me. i came across this song a few weeks ago....i was happy. realized...i don't need him to control me anymore. i'm free of everything i ever felt about him. :)

YES! i've loved them for YEARS and i FINALLY got to see them live this weekend!! But i was kinda upset b/c the arena was way too empty for such an amazing band..the last time i saw a concert at that venue it was packed and guess who it was - the Backstreet Boys of course haha (i was in like 6th grade, give me a break). Just goes to show how many great artists aren't appreciated in the way they deserve.
I love all of Blue October's stuff and this is definately one of my favorites of theirs. My friend likes them too, but she only has heard "Into the Ocean" and "Hate Me" which are good songs, but those are the only ones people ever hear.
It sucks these guys didnt get more exposure to these earlier albums. Because they simply kick ass. Never in my life owned an album that I liked every single song on. Radio here never played blue october until foiled was released, and still they only play "in to the ocean" and "hate me" wich are good songs just not he BEST IMO. Argue with a tree DVD is amazing, musical geniuses is what these guys are. awesome, what else can I say?
This is my favorite Blue song for sure. I wish they would play it more at the live shows. I haven't heard it live in a while. I think its way better than the newer singles.

I love this song-- and more particularly, this band.
Their lyrics are raw, original, and when Justin sings 'em, he actually sounds like he MEANS them.
