My daily driver used to be a 1985 Volvo 244, it's currently a 1989 Chevrolet Silverado not to different from the one in this video.
The Chevrolet truck thus far has been more reliable, not significantly heavier, superior performing, and even gets better gas mileage with twice the cylinders and more than twice the displacement.
