Great song, the usual mediocre video treatment by videoblast. At least it wasn't as bad as his more home-made ones (like the 'Obama is the Socialist Devil' horse shit).
I've watched over a dozen of videoblast's videos, including the psych ones he thinks are his best, and I can say that the only redeeming quality in any: the music. This one's the best because the video isn't too crappy and the song is magic.
He stated that he usually wrote his music first, and the lyrics afterwards. To arrive at the words for his lyrics, he would often just sing nonsense syllables in the mix, time after time, chipping away at the syllables and phrases until the words finally crystallized.
The ambiguity of some of the lyrics (is he really singing "endless blue meanders"?) might be a result of the process by which the words arrived.
His primary interest was in the sounds of the words; at least initially.
I saw Eno perform at UC Santa Cruz, some years ago; he gave a concert and provided a brief, explanatory tutorial. He stayed afterwards and gave a number of interesting, thoughtful answers to questions from the audience.

Brown eyes and I were tired,
we had walked and we had scrambled
through the moors and through the briars,
through the endless blue meanders;
In the blue August moon;
In the cool August moon.

Over the nights and through the fires
we went surging down the wires,
through the towns and on the highways,
through the storms in all their thundering;
In the blue August moon;
In the cool August moon.

And we rested in the desert,
where the bones were white as tungsten,
and we saw St. Elmo's Fire
splitting ions in the ether
In the blue August moon...
In the cool August moon...

The lyrics (or something close) are posted above.
