  • Wow, great stuff here mate! I'm really into movie/video-game music and it's great to hear such amazing original work! I like your style very much and it's really hard to pick a favorite out of these tunes! Each one is unique in its own way. Maybe the last one (Equilux) was the one that impressed me the most. I'm looking forward to full songs! It's frustrating to hear good music and it stops when you're most interested :D

  • @Yebanoshi Behold the power of teasers! xD

Thanks a lot, it's been a long time since I composed, and the songs are around 5 minutes long, except for Equilux which is more like 9 minutes. I can PM them to you, but keep in mind I just quickly took a MIDI file from GuitarPro5 and rendered it with Kontakt after a few hours of tweaking. It's not supposed to be impressive, just more realistic. xD

  • I really like this one!

  • @Wallimann Thanks David :) I'm a huge fan of everything you're involved with! :D

  • Sweets to the sweet, Truta! It would indeed satisfy my ears to hear the rest of your compositions!

  • franchement pas mal!

  • @stheive Merci d'avoir pris le temps! :) J'ai sauvegardé les chansons entières, mais je ne suis pas encore assez satisfait pour les montrer ici sur YouTube ;)

  • this guys gonna compose music for a living for sure...

  • @Diefordethklok333 I really appreciate your kind words! :) I will definitely compose music, but I do not think I will make it my living.

  • @Alexiaden93 Oh come on! :)

  • Thank you for 1000 views, YouTube folks! :)

  • lmao

  • Great stuff!

Taking a leaf out of John Barry's book with that minor-major 9th ending eh.. Never fails :D

  • @TheArtster I hate you xD Your musical knowledge is beyond my imagination xD Thanks a lot for your inspiring words. I love the "James Bond" chord as I like to call it... In this case a Gminmaj7add9, well spotted :)

  • i like it.

  • @neoureaux Multumesc, prietene! :D

  • Beautiful! :)

  • @OSollesnes Thanks, Øystein :)

  • Nice pieces Alex! Especially liked Equilux!! and also Contemporary Concerto in Bm :)

  • @MaxWGuitar91 Thank you! Long time no see :S I'm glad you liked Equilux, it's the longest one of the four... :)

  • @Alexiaden93 Looking forward to hear the finished versions :D Yeah, I've been busy with other stuff and now my band and I is just starting to be on our way to record a demo :)

  • Indeed, very impressive arrangements here mate ;) I gleefully await your next pieces!

  • @WindNail Thanks, Philip. ;)

Excellent sounds and beautiful arrangements, I love this!!!

    Keep writing!

  • @Wallimann I will get right to it, Sir! :D Glad you liked it... :)

  • I'm glad you've had a productive summer :P

  • @Relgappo Haha, I think this must one of the least productive aspects of my summer ;) When something is fun I kind of instinctively hesitate in calling it productive, although it probably is... :D I am back in Norway by the way :)

  • So cool, Alexander! I'm really impressed!

btw Komplete 6 is awesome, I love to work on it :)

  • @UzbekistanienBOY Thank you, Piotr! I'm glad you liked it :) I would be very grateful if you could share some tips n' tricks concerning the softwares... :D

  • @aggression99 Hahahahaha, thanks a lot, man ! :D No of course I won't forget maths, I didn't go to sleep tonight because of that subject :D

  • Symphony of the sands and Contemporary Concerto are awesome.

    Robin :o)

  • @RobinStrower Thank you :) *makes a tally chart* :D

  • Excellent work my friend! when I listen this work , can I see the knowledge ... the inspiration and the sensibility. Great work!

  • @jonaburgoscanuelas :D It is an honour for me that you comment on my work :D I am really glad you like it Jona :D A lot of my inspiration comes from your melodic phrasing :) Take care, amigo.

  • Not a big fan of this kind of stuff but great work

  • @superize Thanks for listening anyway :) I do have some metal coming... ;)

  • I really dig this stuff actually. Sounds better than a GP midi!

I would love for you to do some stuff with a beat, like a trance/slow dance kinda thing. You should check out Karsh Kale and/or Aphex Twin.

  • @Epiphonefan Wow I am glad I didn't spend £345 for something that sounds worse than GP5 MIDI ! :D Maybe I will compose some of your beat music eventually... I am open to suggestions, although I am focused on more melodic and smooth stuff at the moment.

  • Hey man , nice pictures. The music kinda ruins the pictures tho.

Ha, just joking, I really dig the symphony of the sands, but I don't really like the ba bam bam in the background... maybe without it it will sound alot better.... I don't know just saying. You've got mad composing skills, I really like the concerto too, as far as I like this kinda stuff. Drums in the Wind is a little less attractive to me.

OH SHIT TANGO! And as we all know, Tango really tends to grab people by the balls. So..yea

  • @Epiphonefan Well that's OK I edited the pictures so that's not insulting... :) What do you mean by "bam bam bam"? The pizzicato strings? I appreciate your feedback, and I'm sorry you weren't born with an attraction towards Tango. :(

Thanks for the nice comments, mate!
