Part 1 = it was a retelling on 13 episodes, and it did start differently, and Hughes dies earlier, I ain't complaining (Hughes dies on Ch. 15 out of 108 in the manga)

Part 2 = Action-packed, started getting epic when Mustang burned the hell out of Lust

Part 3 = Slower, and more interesting.

Part 4 = Building Up To The Climax

Part 5 = it's a sauce mixed with EPIC, WIN, and AWESOME and once you get to taste it, you get EPIC WIN AWESOMESAUCE!

Great Anime, Great Story, Great Manga.

My earlier comment about the "original version" was written without meaning to harm or insult anyone, so I am sorry if I did! It'd just that in MY opinion this version is will stand out more magnificently in my mind because of the outstanding character development, wonderful music, good animation and hilarious comic relief (the short-rants).

Overall, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was an absolutely WONDERFUL experience and I enjoyed every single breath-taking minute of it.

Also, I cried at the end. It totally left me wanting more, but in a good way! Overall, I LOVED the Brotherhood and am IMMENSELY glad I decided to watch it; now I dislike the quote "original" because, in my opinion, the plot is too flat and (spoiler) they get their bodies back, boom, that's it. Done.

However, in THIS version it was amazing how much they had to sacrifice, and how they went about achieving their goal was bone-chilling to watch. I cried during that part.

This series kept me guessing until the very end; I LOVED all the fantastic characters and how they all developed. Some people hate Ed; but I take his so-called flaws as a sign of his wonderfully deep character, originally created by the genius manga storyteller Hiromu Arakawa!! Episode 53, I think it was, was incredibly intense and dramatic. It made Envy my second favorite Homunculus right then and there because of the magnificently chilling new arc revealed in his character.

Nice trailer! I watched the last six episodes in Japanese with English subtitles--which I don't normally do, I only did so because I couldn't find the rest in dub--and found the experience most definitely enjoyable. In some cases, like Studio Ghibli, I prefer the subs, but in Fullmetal's case the dub is excellent. However, I rather liked seeing the subs and found the experience very interesting indeed. The final part is filled with so many unexpected twists!! It was VERY exciting!

@RedEyeCobra Depends on where you watch the anime. I know some HD places.,.but the reason some people watch anime online is to see if it is a good show or not. Who wants to spend their money on a anime that is terrible? And unlike TV shows that are on main network stations, most anime isn't aired on channels and even if it is, it is very difficult to find. So really, watching some of the episodes online is the best opition to checking if the show is worth your money. That is my reasoning anyway.

@RogueLedr Part 5 isn't out yet. They only released up to episode 52 English dubbed so far. The rest of the episodes (53-64) are coming out on DVD July 26th. But if you're looking for them subbed, I'm pretty sure YouTube has all the subbed ones uploaded. Hope that helped~ ^^

I watched them on watchcartoononline(dot)com. Just punch that in and you'll come to the site. Click on 'Dubbed anime' on the top of the page. You'll come to an A-Z list, click on 'F' for FMA: Brotherhood. They have up to 52. The list says it goes up to 53 but I think that's just in preparation for when it comes out. Hope that helps! =)
