@zshockett You have to use sprint. They won't follow you with an IMS on.

@shaikuzy You shouldn't be having trouble with the grasping darknesses. Make sure you have a Zealous Sword of Fortitude with a +5energy inscription, all knights insignias on the armor, one rune of superior absorption , 1 Minor or Major Strength, 1 Minor Swordsmanship, and the highest vigor rune you can afford.

just tried this with the skeletons and the spawning grasps along the run and all that shit.

all i can say is that it is very possible, but takes longer. when your running to the smites, kill the grasps following if you get a chance because they will be a pain. also if the skele in the smite area is really close, you have to kite around the ataxes untill he goes back more, the whole run is sketchy as fuck. when doing the smites just watch the pats of the skeles. you can also lose agro with them.

@ShinZERO9 You have to work around the skeleton patrols and never try to attack them. If they get on you, run.

you can't farm UW anymore cus firstly because ofthe skeletons which popped up on halloween and i dunno why but i always get the problem wher at least one Bladed Aatxe always comes back when you try to draw the craspings, i've tried running faster than them and then running away like shown in this vid but one always comes back with the crasping group and kills me, anyone else have this problem? nice job btw i never saw this build up until today! :D gw ftw

been using this build for a long time but the Skeleton of Dhuum counters this I believe? Not sure how you can kill it since this build isn't a good single target DPS

They added grasping darkness popups to the starting area. You cant out run them untill you get to the first group of smites. You may need to adjust your armorto be able to tank those things a little better

i can never make the run...i sprint as soon as possible and dont stop but i always die around the stairs to the wastes...what am i doing wrong...other that the one time i made the run it worked great...msg me IG on Emmet the Barbarian

i killed the night patrols easy

they heal themselves with enchantments and we can take the henchantments off easy, so i killed them and continued through the uw.

I *think* that in hard mode that you can't outrun the the aatxes, and you get the same ecto drop rate as in NM

The bataxes do kill you in hardmode, and yes its the same drop rate for ectos.

lol thanks but I already tried twice in hm and failed ;( but lukily after those 2 I got my first 3 ecto run and another ^^ and white dye and oldschools and alot of stacks of dust. This video is my guild wars life changer xD

Woot dude I love you! (no homo) Just finished my first 2 runs and the first one I forgot to cast rending >.> but the 2nd one finished it all. Got no ectos ;( but I now know how to farm smite crawlers ^^

Ectos will come, as you get better at the run you can do it super fast and before you know it 50 ectos will be in your storage.. haha.
