I wouldnt take someone to a cliff for their first jump, and I certainly wouldnt reccomend they stow their pilot chute.

Do you need some type of certificate for a base jump? Kind of like what you would get for skydiving? Or is it just, "Hey let's jump off this cliff?

@lilJayer There are courses which i would highly recommend doing first where you learn to pack BASE rigs etc and get taught things that differ to skydiving. You usually need 200 skydives to do the course though.
