  • Cool !!

I used to to this in Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator :-)

  • Stall warning going off during the turn.

An ametuer hack putting people's lives at risk. Idiot.

  • Wow that's so cool. If I ever go to Paris I wanna do that!!!

  • To hell with going up the overrated tower. I'd rather do this instead.

  • foolish!

  • Oh no he di-int

    oh yes he did

    oh no he di-int

    oh yes he did

    oh no he di-...

YES HE DID I JUST SAW IT!

    lol family guy

  • @akkalakakalakka A'right take it easy LOLOLOL (Also from Family guy)

  • No its not impossible, you are seeing Mike do it, its been done numerous times, but not often in the last 50 years. Mike is in jail now, what a pity

  • Try doing that post 9/11....

  • try to do this today, with millions of visitors inside the tower ... :)

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) Why do we enjoy challenge flight, such as flying under Eiffel Tower?

    (3) Physically and emotionally, how can aperson's well-being be improved by challenge flying?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

P.S. I thought that was only myths on flight simulator, but it can be real. I have a FSX video about my virtual flying under Eiffel Tower.

  • @applesweeter Because you can get away from all those, PEOPLE.

  • Despite the adventurous spirit of the pilot, he has no right to put others lives in jeopardy because of its own ambitions. If the plane had hit the tower it certainly would have plunged to the ground imediately, probably killing a lot of people.

  • You could never do this in America. 1, it's illegal. 2. People would think it's 9-11 again. And C. That pilot was very dumb. Being a pilot myself, you should never, EVER do anything as dangerous as this.

  • @NateTheGreatPilot 1,2 and C now thats funny.

  • @NateTheGreatPilot 4. the eiffel tower is not in America

  • @HarbingerGunner

    Did I say it was?

  • @NateTheGreatPilot just pointing out the most obvious reason why you can never fly under the Eiffel tower

  • @NateTheGreatPilot U guys gotta stop being such party poopers. Live a little, this guy clearly got something figured out

  • @Ramster211 Sure, he figured out an easy stunt that will put an historic WORLD MARVEL in danger along with a few hundred people on it, and on top he taped himself doing the stupid crime.

I can imagine the Gendarmerie kicking his ass after he landed.

Can he send a clip from his jail cell now? smiling please.

  • @NateTheGreatPilot Hahah 1, 2 and C.. lol

  • @NateTheGreatPilot try watching Jurgis Kairys - flying upside down under a bridge ;-)

  • I like the spirit and enthusiasm.

Thank Bob , God bless you !

  • good on him

  • what a jackass

  • He is not allowed inside of France any more. Like not even to change planes or anything

  • @ae4xo This was shot in the 70s, if he didn't get permission from the government to do that then he would of only gotten a fine, now days he would of had his pilots license revoked and would of been arrested and detained for 30 days minimum under anti-terrorism laws.

  • @RainbowManification And rightly so. This guy is a complete jackass.

  • @Skire90 I think it was a pretty cool stunt at the time, but today he would scare the living shit out of people

  • mad germans say take this for terring down our wall oops wrong country well u still shoundent mess with us

  • mad germans say take this oops wrong country well u still shoundent mess with us

  • @v12tommy Haters gunna hate.

  • @v12tommy lmao

  • The French Air Force would surrender!

  • Today the French airforce would shoot you down if you tried that.

  • @GunsOfThePhoenix

    They cant be so fast....

  • Is that "Hinsel & Gretel?" :-) No real cure for Stupid, is there; I know, I know, the "girls" really like it when you do these really outrageous things! But, that wasn't outrageous - it was just plain: STUPID!!! Now, tell the "ladies" that not only do you like a roll in the hay, you like to do really stupid things! ha, ha, ha, ha.

  • haha what a bad terrorist. He completely missed the whole tower

  • is that reel !!?

  • That's one way to lose your airplane and spend time in jail.

  • Lol he just prob broke a world record and all he says is "GREAT!" lmfao

  • HAHAHA LOL THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I liked how his stall warning was going off hahaha

  • @HARRYFRIGGINPOTTER1 That wasn't a stall warning! It was his horn he was honking to let the people on the ground know they are about to witness something very stupid and deadly! XD

  • @alwaysFSX Some one had to do it, you should try doing it playing your FSX,

  • @HARRYFRIGGINPOTTER1 I Have! No horns for me though! ^.^

  • looks real. and real fun. do it upside down next time but you might need a rv-6

  • ready?

  • license revoked !

  • Back in the 60-70's you could fly under bridges and close to buildings all day long.

  • who can say me when this video has been made? thx

  • Allah Wakbar ;-)))

  • I dare him to do that again now in 2010 haha!

  • Thats awesome. Worlds too fuck up now to do anything.

  • today it's impossible ! the french air force kill you ^^

  • That would be fun.

  • son of a biscuit

  • MANIAC!!!

  • why are we so fascinated by assholes? What he did was stupid and dangerous.

  • @bodysurfr You're stupid and danerous

  • @bodysurfr You're an idiot

  • lots of room for error. not that impressive.

  • but still pretty bitchin lol

  • I think its one of the things that all pilots dream about but never can do.Good for him.80 yrs ago he'd have been a international sensation. Now its just criminal. What a pity.

  • He never did get caught for this but he did later spend 15 years in the slammer on drug trafficing charges. I believe he lives in Florida now.

  • cool, i want to go to paris so badly

  • don't eat the food...they will spit and put boogers in your food...they hate americans.

  • cock suckers !!!

  • now that shits crazy

  • The pilot looks like a student that I have trained.

And that guy was some how a mad man.

    Help !!!

  • you are a nit wit. Robert Moriarity is a military trained pilot who flew F4s in Vietnam, flies ferry flights every year over the Atlantic.

Why do you bother to post such ill informed garbage? I spoke with him after I read about his exploits on the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum website. He is a great guy and you are nobody

  • So these are some strong of words You don't even know me. Maybe I have done similar things in aviation you can't know. My fam knew Gus Grissom. So see here my point ... do not Assume that know some guy and call him a nitwit and all that.

This negative attitude will reflect only on your self.

Do you think that Robert Moriarity does like you attitude in this comment.

    Reading my first reaction

" the man looks like a student" is not saying he is that student. Read well !!!

    Cheers..

  • OK OK as Saint Thomas More said: "I am well rebuked"

  • Sadly, he was later convicted on drug charges in Florida and sentenced to 15 years. :(

  • @HRMOKeefe not 2 mention that if that dude flew his plane into the eiffel tower... he would be dead and the plane would cause omost no damage to the solid metal structure

  • terrorist miss?

  • This is real and not a show. Google Robert Moriarty. Was it smart? Probably not, he can't go back to France and it was dangerous. But it was cool.

  • Lol well this is the worlds first 10 billion dollar simulator because sims look like crap. especially motion sims look the worst.

  • Unless this was a staged, authorized event, this is just another brazen American douchebag (yet another reason why I'm disgusted being from the States, to watch some idiot film himself being marvelous, that is, unless this was orchestrated with French authorities).

  • Apparently the emergency vehicles on the ground weren't a dead give away....

  • if you don't like the USA than move to cuba

  • you mean ''then'' !?

  • who cares

  • He put many innocent lives at risk.

There are several aircraft problems that could have occurred, though very unlikely,

plus sudden wind gusts that could have caused him to veer

No doubt a thrill for those in the tower.

This was fun by why risk others' lives?

  • I don't know for sure but this may have been put on for show.. You don't see any people around the tower. Maybe it was planned??

  • Is that the stall horn I hear? If it was he's got balls to fly that slow that close to the ground.. Or a death wish

  • Could be the horn for the landing gear, power idle and it lets you know in the Bonanza.

  • Maybe so I did'nt know that.. never flew a plane with retractable gear..

  • @kpk4440 Not so much, the stall warning on aircraft this size routinely trigger with turbulence or just simple changes in attitude.

  • For all here who think it is "fun", do not forget that if the aircraft had had a slight engine problem, it would simply have crashed on houses or people. This type of flying is an example of bad flying and selfishness

  • your probaly nothing more than a private pilot with an ifr rating so dont judge anyone im sure you have never took a short cut.....douche bag

  • Well i suppose your mothertongue is not english given the number of spelling and grammar mistakes you managed to make in one phrase ;-)

  • @zorro051969 oh take the rod out of your arsehole

  • @ChrisMiller1994 This guy is lunatic, that is all. No need to comment with your 5 year old comments. Thanks

  • @zorro051969 i'd be worried if a five year old knew the word 'arsehole' and no, he must be a very skilled pilot, and no need to post twice. nobody is impressed.

  • @zorro051969 and if he were flying at 3000 feet above the houses he still wouldnt have crashed? sorry dude there isnt to many open areas to ditch a single engine prop in downtown Pars

  • @zorro051969 If a plane has engine problems at most altitudes it would cause problems

  • Nice to know he was willing to risk hundreds of people's safety for his own amusement.

  • Yeah! Aint It cool!

  • Crazy indeed.Nowadays it's impossible, fying over Paris is completely FORBIDDEN.

  • No it's not impossible, but he lost his licence after that :)

  • YES IT IS.Paris is not London.

  • It's not impossible, but completely forbidden.

  • @AcroFlieger Tell that to some terrorists.....

  • but if you have a transponder and ask the atc for permission, but you wont get one , if it isnt an airshow and people are under your plane

by the way, it's also illegal to underfly bridges

    : )

  • woo thats crazy!!

  • crazy thing, these days they wouldnt hesitate to shoot you down while heading for a building like that

  • what a loony

  • I remember that the guy even told France he was going to it (or the media) and even gave a time and date. There is a ground footage to this I saw it back in the 80s . coverd by the news channel waiting

  • I remember that; a lot of the spectators who witnessed it through impromptu serendipity were all amazed by it =P

  • this is probably why everyone hates american tourists haha

  • In the 70's this was cool, now days it's terrorism...

  • @cloudbasefun There are heavily armed military troops policing the eifel tower, They would probably shoot that plane till it exploded, causing even more damage and more deaths and injuries if they hadn't shot at it.

  • @cloudbasefun you are right

  • does anyone know if there's truth to the video's description? "a very common thing"

  • no its a joke u tit

  • lol rites

  • Soon after this flight the pilot and aircraft flew back to the US without being caught. Later on the pilot sold the aircraft to a pilot in my home town. The pilot later lost his license due to another stuppid stunt or drug running (not clear wich) The guy that bought the aircraft sold it and im not sure were it is now. I think the paris flight was in the 70's, but i could be wrong.

  • @green15ish. This happened in the 80's and Bob did not own the airplane that he pulled this stunt in.

  • I'm sure he lost his licence after that stunt.

  • This can't be legal...

  • It isnt! ;)

  • @TimMc333 Then i think you had to get permission from the government, now it is prohibited airspace, PERIOD.

  • "Great!" + Thumbs Up

  • Thanks for the vid pal - consider your license gone (not kidding)

  • Yeah, he did do this 25 years ago :) He went on to found a Mac reseller (maccpu . com)

  • stall warning horn going off at 70 agl on final approach to the eiffell tower. wow.

  • It is not stall warning..it is warning horn for landing gear up when you put thrust at minimum.

  • There was a guy who did that under the St. Louis

Arch and went to jail for it.

  • I have heard this is real. Sure wish I had thought about it or been in behind him! LOL

  • This guys an ass

  • I wish I had been there... Would have drop a brick on his Bo....

  • is he even wearing a freakin headset?

  • What does a headset have to do with anything? I'm sure he wasn't exactly listening to ATC getting vectors!

  • This was done in 1984. I am not sure how common it was to use headsets. (I still remember flying in the '70s with my dad minus headsets. We did not talk we yelled.) Check out proairshowdotcomslashEiffeldothtm for Bob Moriarty's recount.

  • is that real???? it looks but i think the cops will be on to them like do it in usa and see what happens

  • well this is a pretty cool vid...

  • Comment removed

  • it actually happened retard

  • Wow. What a freaking dumbass. good flying. Bad Idea. Damn. That would have been shit hitting the fan if he had a failure or something. Cool for the viewers bad for spectators.

  • If he did that in US he would be in jail for the rest of his life.

  • that is loose

  • Cool video, pity about the leftist tree huggers that didn't like it.

  • Holy shit!

  • it is very illegal ahahahahah but this video is very old

  • What an ass.

  • Is that the John Bunnell guy from Police Videos? lol

  • Im surprised that history didnt report that a german Bf109 pilot had done it in 1940. hmmm i wonder

  • in the US its not legal that would be well below minimums over a city and well within the required distances from ppl and buildings...but in France who knows lol...YES ITS ILLEGAL

  • legal?

  • He's lucky someone didn't throw a beret at him.

  • his licnese should be revoked and he should be put in jail, people like that should not be allowed to fly...

  • did you lose your license?

  • i was talking to him a couple weeks ago and he said he only wanted to do it because no one had ever done it before. a while after he did it he got a call asking if it was him that did it because it wasnt legal. the guys absolutely amazing. i sat there for at least an hour and a half listening to him, i could have gone all day. hes awesome.

  • No, he's not awesome, he's a fucking idiot.

This is the kind of dickweed that needs to be grounded permently, how awesome would he have been if he had some sort of failure and killed 20 people on the ground. Your as dumb as this bastard is for thinking he's cool.

  • You are absolutely correct Gliderflier 01.

  • I second that ......

  • humm paris is in class A zone ... so it could be an IFR ... but control can't clear you to do it ... so how did you it?

  • you dumbfuck, Class A airspace is the airspace above 18,000,It's class B. This is under FFA in USA, please forgive me if it is different with ICAO. But Im just used to the FFA

  • You mean FAA?

FFA is Future Farmers of America LOL

  • yeah, whos the dumbfuck now...lol

  • nap ICAO is different. paris is class A from ground to 5000ft so, VFR are prohibited

  • -.-

  • haha nice. I'm waiting for a student pilot to crash a c152 into the Eiffel Tower.

  • well this is a pretty cool vid... better than the ripped off one by banndersnatch, who thinks the bonanza is made by cessna 5/5

  • just crazy

  • was it legal?

  • sweet, can you give me a link to a version to download, i want to put it on my new ipod nano.

  • youtube video downloader

  • tell me "thebardonstore", why wud the FAA be calling him if it was in Paris?, and also, i doubt they would have him on the phone within one minute, you can also hearing him radioing that he is "just coming over the river" suggesting that other people are in on it...

stop trying to get some sort of recognition, are we meant to bend down for you because it was "your dads plane"

  • Comment removed

  • I would do it, if you gave me a plane to do it in :)
