An easy way of avoiding Ness's final smash, Is jump around outside of the map, where the comets don't hit you,

@Ericrud96 Actually, there ARE few comets that can hit you outside the map. Same goes for Lucas. A good tactic it's to have good timing and spotdodging or rolldodging. Some DI should help too, at least in the case you get between 2 or more comets.

Also, in my experience with Toon Link, my brothers have found a way that it will seem like the FS hit, but their character breaks out of it before TL charges forward. I don't know how they do this, but it's worth looking into, and seeing if it's possible for Link as well.

Another option for Lucario is to Fake out your opponent by standing on one side of the stage, then maneuvering to the other. I've done this many times to my friend on WiFi while I was Mario, but Sonic is probably best at this.

Two things: It seems captain obvious is playing as the characters who uses smashs. He can try to hit you, but hes not really trying to fight you like for real. So... hope u can get that on mind. Next time, try to do things more realistic.

@shadowofchaos725 Something I found really useful for the Olimar one is have a character with "Floating" Abilities (Meta Knight, Kirby, etc) And go as far to the left or right from the rocket as you can. When the rocket is in the sky fall to the ground and fly to the upper left/right corner of the screen to avoid the blast radius. Works for me every time.

I usually play as Meta Knight so dodging Ness's and Lucas's FSs is easier because all you really have to do is get off-screen. Some stages have land that goes off screen, but some don't, which gives Meta Knight, ROB, Snake, and Pit the best advantages.

Many of these smashes are much harder to avoid than what you're trying to make it sound. Me being a ROB user would never make it that easy to dodge his. Same with Ice Climber and Jigglypuff.

Oh, if you get a Super Star on Sonic's final smash, it will have no effect.

Also if you have a hammer, fireworks cannon, smart bomb, or any other insanely powerful item, you can K.O Giga Bowser, if his damage is high enough.

There's a special thing on the "bridge of eldin" stage that makes ROB's final smash go on forever. Just so ya know. You'll probably wanna attack from behind/above/below, if that happens.

For Bowser's, if you're in a team battle, both players can use repetitive attacks and it will slow him down for the most part, giving you either time to dodge, or run XD for individuals, if doesn't slow him down as much, so you might not want to risk it.

I don't know if he's going to do it but I can give out a nice pointer.

For characters that have a "Target Line" like Link/Toon Link, Zelda/Shiek, do a stun move to hit or "force" a dodge-- If the Dodge, wait until the dodge is done, Smash em. Right as they get hit, press B ASAP, which will cause them to be smashed. At most a Smart Bomb/Deku Nut REALLY helps if items were allowed as Stun/Paralysis will enable a clean shot.

The edge trick won't work, at least for a smart Bowser user, A down smash attack at the edge would raise them up, if not then a crouch claw should do the trick. But the edge trick DOES keep Bowser from doing as much damage as possible

@mrmarioboy1 He doesn't flinch. If he's at the top of the screen. He doesn't move. You die when your character's legs reach the KO Boundary. The only way that will happen to GIga Bowser is if:

A) The person messes up and kills themselves.

B) You have the More than one Final Smash code on and you take Giga Bowser off for a ride to the top of the screen with a Landmaster.

@kirbymancan That's not flinching. It's frozen in the super armor frames. "Flinching" is having a "I got hit" type frame, where you see he gets hurt from his expression. No such frames for Giga Bowser.

hey, i found out that you can actually kill bowser while he's in his final smash. all you have to do is get a one hit kill on him, like luigi's b + up move, or make him fall to his death, which is easy compared to his size.
