@david7lee7xkiwibabex still phi sounds correctly if u spell it like fee, chi like "kill" without the double L letters, and psi like the 2nd syllable of pepsi. pe-PSI. xkiwibabex advice is misleading i dont know if he/she is greek but its wrong. Most greek guys in this comment page dont seem to know some english accent rules. Its wrong to say that "mu" (like u say it) sounds like "mi', because an english speaker will prounounce it like the first syllable of "MIghty". "M" in greek sound like "me"

ohh ur teacher is lame...coz basically the one who corrected it is my greek husband while listening to it and he heard it,..and i am actually here in greece so i know ok...go back to your teacher and tell her to learn how to pronounce it first before teaching it ok!

the problem is that u cant immitate clear greek sounds using latin characters. But if it helps im giving some tips that'll do it sound more like it. (M) sounds like "Me" Νu (N) = "Knee" (X-Ξ) = like XI from toXIc Pi (Π) = Pee (;-)) 'T' = "tough" oopsilon (Y) = "hip-see-lon" Phi(Φ) = fee Chi / Ki (X) = He (but say like u r scottish) Psi (Ψ) = Like when u say PC but ommiting the first vowel. The rest of the alphabet is quite OK!

@CthuluCthulian In Scots, we have both the H sound and the [x] sound. For instance, both are pronounced in the word Pottit Hoch (a cold meat dish served in a plastic tub), where the H represents the H sound and the Ch represents the voiceless velar fricative not present in English.
