I have a thyroid condition. i bought the nioxin 5 cleanser & the alterna caviar anti-aging seasilk moisture conditioner.,Nioxin thermal bliss. I'm thinking to follow yr regimen 2see if it helps my prob. What do u think if i use at the same time, Moraccan restorative Mask? Or do u hve any advice u could give me? Pls respond as soon as u can. I want to know which system # will be best for me sine I am transitioning to natural hair and my hair is coarse but its breaking alot. @VeryHappy2bMe: You didn't ask me but :-) I have used this shampoo and conditioner combination and I love it. I think it is the best combo I have tried. I started with the regular sized bottles and recently upgraded to the 2 liter bottles! I loved it so much I had to get the larger bottles.

HELP anybody, i went to the Alterna website, and turns out there are MULTIPLE Alterna "conditioners" . What is the name of the exact one Rachel discusses that's in the purple bottle (6:34 in vid)? It's really helpful to have the exact name of products discussed in vids, or in the descipt box, b/c the camera blurs the smaller writing on the product bottle she held up.

I know this viedio was done last year but thanks for the information. I do have a question that maybe you could help with. I'm and African American woman and my hair wasn't as thick as your so I was told about nioxin for thin hair. During the time I used the nioxin i had corn rolls so I just washed my scalp with the product twice. When I took out the corn rolls my hair had gotten so thin and there was no weight to it like it usually had. The texture of my hair hasn't come back please help!!

Rachael I was going natural, but a few weeks ago I got a perm now, she didn't make my hair straight but what it did was tame my hair. Now when I wash it is is curly, I have coil curls, it is gorgeous, BUT, I have to learn how to trap that moisture so that I can not get that frizz, when it is wet is it looks beautiful, since I have only about 5 inches of hair it isn't long enough yet, but she did layer it for me, so now I am blow drying it straight and flat ironing. Any advice?
